To be honest I started watching the show for the main ML and well I still really enjoy him and his story arc- I must admit that Kang Tae Oh has won me over. I like-hated him in Tales of Nokdu and then by accident the other day I found a 4-episode show he did and now I'm a fan.

Somebody really needs to create a "Bromance" award for these shows.

I may have rewound that scene twice because it made me laugh so much. And I give much props to the actors who were willing to do that. The good looking cool guys don't normally do something like that. Makes me happy!

Yes, I do think she will realize her fault in getting mad for hiding the secret. I highly doubt that Soojin Will come around and admit that she was wrong and what she did. But either way I hope that Jugyeong Will walk away from both of them and find friends who will except her for who she is. I kind a hoped she would help that other girl from her school but that didn't happen. Maybe it will happen down the road.

In the scene where SeoJun confronts the bullies and threatens them all I could think of was his role in" Tales of Nokdu" where he played a heartless assassin. Too bad he doesn't have his swords here.

I take it back… The best scene of the episode was when SeoJun pointed out the fact that SuHo had missed a stitch because he used to crochet when his sister was really into it. Seriously can this Bromance get any better?!

All I know is I think the best scene of episode 12 is where Lee SoHo is trying to learn how to knit with the YouTube video. As someone who crochets I fully appreciate incorporating yarn crafts into the show. I got to say I didn't think I'd ever see that in a K drama.

I will caution you it is definitely a slice of life/slow burn drama. If you're not into that kind of show you may not like this one. But I really love it.

I fully agree with you. I would love to see a drama that just keeps the strong second female lead and doesn't change it. I think that's why I'm really enjoying Run On because while the for leads are intertwined they're dealing with their own love stories and not trying to influence the other love stories.

I have mixed feelings about this writer because she writes great characters such as the two male leads and two awesome female leads but then they screw over the second female lead. I suppose it could be argued that they're using the second male lead to show the right way to handle your love being unrequited and they're showing the second female as the wrong way to do it. But that's the biggest cliché in the book. Why couldn't they reverse it have her be the strong awesome character and have him be the jerk. Or better yet have them both be awesome and find love elsewhere. However, according to my friend who read the webtoon and I didn't all may not be as it seems. That's of course if the writer of the show decides to go the way the writer of the webtoon has. Either way I'll be happy I don't care which one she ends up with I like them both.

How many episodes have you watched? I only have access to two episodes so far. Also you might want to tag this as a spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it. Granted I've seen the other version so it's not really a spoiler to me.

All I know is whoever does his hair and make up is doing an excellent job because every week he does videos on YouTube and he doesn't have that facial hair so I'm guessing he either grows facial hair really really really fast or that is applied every time he films. Although his videos that he post on YouTube are usually filmed a week or so in advance but he's done a couple of Livestreams and he definitely did not have that facial hair.

The first time I saw it I honestly thought it was the "King of the Streets" from Haechi.

I've been waiting patiently since it was first announced last year. I haven't seen his show that just aired but I've seen most of them. His character seems similar to Jiang Chen but at the same time not so broody which is nice.

I agree with you. Hu Yi Tian is one of my absolute favorite actors and I think his portrayal of the ML is very appropriate to that version. This show is lighter because they don't have as long to tell the story so I feel as though the ML needs to be less aloof otherwise we might be turned off and root for the swimmer- who I do love BTW. One of my favorite scenes is at the end of 10 when the FL him for a favor and he doesn't say no which for him is a big leap.

Is this really airing on the 20th?! I’ve been waiting for this version to air. I loved the original but Hu Yi Tian is one of my favorite actors so I really watched to see this one.
