it was the Thai Taste event that happened last year in NYC. BeonCloud actors and storytellers were there along with other BL actors from other studios. They did it in NYC and LA

I doubt they will. totally different vibe here in Thailand when it comes to queer storytelling

They are trying to release more gay/queer series as opposed to BLs. Straight from the mouth of the higher ups at an event I attended in NYC with BeonCloud there

The thing is they aren't releasing "BLs" really anymore. Which i'm kinda thankful for.

I have deaf family members and i get the criticism. Korea has a long standing record of not being respectful of differences. If that happened but doesnt further the story that makes it a catalyst for something better to happen, It is a form of mockery. People have a tendency to take things in shows and translate them to real life and when they find things like this, they run with it into real life, thinking it's ok. I think it's also important that when you have a culture telling you somethi g is offensive or can be seen that way, you believe them and recognize it's not about us only.
