I like how with one scene drama team concluded how and why xiao jue suspects he yan and starts investigting her background. There are whole couple of chapters leading up to his suspecting her... basically she overdoes things to gain his recognition... skills beyond a new recruits paygrade.. tactics she shouldnt have known .. maneuvers she should not have been experienced in.. battle tactics.. when she starts exhibiting real soldier/ general skills while in her new recruits training- horse wishpering, settung up and breaking (battle) formations , quick foot work, showcasing weapon skills too soon , the level that doesnt comes within days.. all this leads to him and his leadership team suspecting her ...

Drama team is showing huge talent in squeezing in novel essense in minimum episodes.. if not for anything they deserve an award for job well done.👏👏
In the novel whenever xiao jue makes an entry into a scene, there are half a dozen lines before and after describing him -looks , attitude ..... its nice drama team picked cheng lei who matches the looks ,aura and intensity. Else novel fandom would have been up in arms more agressively 🤣🤣🤣🤦

if you read the novel it is apparent zhou ye is perfect. in novel, she doesnt have perfect physique , nothing. she builds herself up with pure determination- where she lacks in strength , she uses brain to win. also, she always keeps a goofy, smiley face /aura in the novel.

Watched till ep7.. at this point it seems ,Ml's friends are the ones who bully FL the most.. ML tries to protect her in his own way but never directly confront his friends about their behavior. I understand considering everything that was probably the best way to do it. Bit given his friends , the 2 guys and 2 gals , seem to cherish their friendship with him, he could have prevented their bullying more actively ..one of his friends crosses line many times - once mocking say she may share her sisters personality with regards to men , and almost say they may have a chance with her, ...or his unforgiving behaviour when she comes to give the take away order.. .. its really depressing that monsters live amoung us , within us...we treat people going through difficult times so harshly that they tither to the wrong side unable to handle it all..qiao beiyu story is heart wrenching.. all that poor gal was seeking was some warmth.. so sad it evaded her till last... and she went away without experiencing even an iota of it...😪
