i think he purposefully did that to distract her... she came to check if he is unwell... he distracted with the robe ....and also suspect with the girl.... he setup what happened later... public scandal and all

can he? it seems she comes from a family which already had 4 queens before her.. it is that power obsessed family, and i dont think she is that easy to get rid of ... also she seems prime suspect in .........

so was he anxious to dress well up for her? he was asking his aide about his dress.. he plays cool but seem to want to appear perfect before her

so who do you think leaked her presence in the grand prince's room to news channels? queen mother or grand prince himself or news channels found it themselves?

i think it is grand prince himself , since no one knows about the doctors visit ... and her meeting him at others places .. he set up the whole thing up (by leaking news) to facilate the marriage even before he asked her what she wants from him for suffering the scandal unfairly...

as someone said,since this was told from her point of view , it is difficult to dislike her, though she is exhibiting some unpalatable value system,..

am actually enjoying her absurdness,...... interesting drama .

The arranged marriage date seem to be a nice guy - and rightly got offended by her lack of right marriage values and obsession with climbing to the top ... and rightly turned her down on her face ..

As for grand prince, not the FL but his aide gave him the correct reason why he should marry her... she is as obsessively competitive as the queen mother is obsessed with the throne. He may consider her for this one reason alone - though i suspect he also had a crush on her during their school time, but wont take action because his position doesnt allow marrying someone with her credentials (illegimate daughter) or because she values class / competitiveness more than love - and she used divorce in the marriage discussion (while he was probably looking for genuine love from her!)

the greatest service FL and police guy did in the series is bringing attention to such manipulative behaviours ..people may have been experiences different shades of such behaviour ..but sometime you cant articulate to youself what is going on or talk to others about it.. this series helped put labels to such behaviours and say they are harm ful behaviors

i think in real world a Marcus falling in love with a butcher girl is really rare. Even when such a marriage occurs, socially ,also it will be extremely difficult to sustain such a marriage with out facing huge social uphilly life. He was supposed to have refused a princess in marriage. for him to expect to fall in love ,with her, even if she is his life saver ..... Also, what if she was a fat , ugly girl.... would ML have agreed with such a wedding... pretend or real , for saving his life.... practical thing to expect in such senarios is he making her and her sister financially secure.. give them lands and house as a form of gratitude.. but to expect that he marry or fall in love with such disparity in everything in their lives can only be expected in fantasy world...
