Both versions are marvellous! its unnecessary to pull one to prop up the other. Both had excellent cast , and both excelled in pulling us in with their magic storytelling! Future viewers are adviced to ignore such biased ratings and rants by overzealous k or c fans .. Both versions are very very good., ,... Each has their own merit , and neither let you down.!

Ep24 is so good.... love the ending ..mark chao is such a great actor.... great episode...👍👍👍👏👏

Ep 19.. good that she created false evidence to scare gu chen ... will he dare use his evidence against ML? Since he believes the other side is also gathering dirt on him

She misread his feeling while eavesdropping on his conversations... many things were said ... fire her, lucky she isnt pretty-else u would not be able to eaplain your self, and his subordinate falling for a girl getting married shortly and ML' reaction to it..and possible reconciliationbetween wife and him (ML and wife in car listening to discussing music from college days .. all this may have deeply hurt and frustrating her, she is already deep in love.. she took back the gloves because she misunderstood he doesnt care enough/disinterested to wear them (he just kept them there without wearing)... but that avoiding was may be to protect his candidature for Vp..she may be upset with, but at this point i dont think she will harm him.. her acting up at the end of ep19 was more to corrupt the evidence they already gathered on him till now..now it will seem like she is harassing him and not vice versa, and anyways it looks more and more like she might get fired ..so she is sacrificing herself from her side to make her look bad and muddy their evidence against him ..

Zhang chang as antogonist is really great. His soft mannerism, voice , pleasant appearance is making him appear much more dangerous

He may have read it as her liking him, remember this happens a little after she slapped his team member for badmouthing behond his back

Ep16 is interesting. ML lead's wife said same things that ML said about the CEO to his face. Desparate to climb higher and faster.. thats her assessment of him in their college days, same as ML. She likes the integrity ML but with lifestyle/hobbies/ambition of CEO...she is torn with guilt for her choices .. but still she didnt fully integrate with life style and priorities of ML. She would have loved it if ML was more like the CEO.... At somepoint her own aspirations /ambition made her depressed when MLs didnt match them.. and hence her bad choices..

I dont think he realises that she meant that seriously...

watched one episode ! Like it, so far. One thing i like about this series and to my beloved thief is the MLs . Both look different , have very unusual faces from typical k drama MLs. The one in this series is very charishmatic and good actor.. and the one in my beloved thief, i didnt even think was that good looking at first look, grew on me with each episode.

The kiss was from FL with an intent to harm ML..(click pic , and give it to the ceo). It wasnt initiated by ML. Also she is 20 i guess at this point of story. People with excessive traumatic experiences probably seek matured partners who showcases care and concern. (This is reason from her side ,i think, to like him ... ) dont think they got together immediately in k version.. there was a gap... enough time for her to grow more , see the world and understand her wishes better ... she may have appealed to him because she understands him better and sees him and his feelings better than anyone else.. thats how am reading this ..else..the girl is pretty shrewd to be a toy of any pedophile ...and he is too rational , caring , responsibile to be a pedophile

That so unfair and cruel to the lady who loved him and his friends too. Could have said a word before he left.dont condemn his wishes , but could have done it better ..he hurt so many with his action

At 14years she saw the worst a human can behave (beating of her old grand ma at the hands of that debt collectors father) , killed that fellow, went to jail, returned, harassed and beaten by that fellow day in and out.. works at the lowest level (that too multiple jobs) getting trampled by eevryone , and seeing happy and privileged lives of others while she is going through such inhuman life may habe broken that kid to the extent survival is more imprtant than being nice.. she makes a comment thag when you are well off you could afford to be nice person- she says this when her grand ma comments ML is a nice person.. and she doesnt think she is s nice person....she was surprised when ML says she is a kind person when he first hand sees how she cares for hwr grand ma taking on imme se weight..she didnt think she was a nice and kind person but someone seeing her like that shocked her.. that would probably first point where her broken heart start mending , and there is hope for her to start becoming nice

i think we should stop the" which is better" debate , - korean or chinese.. i like both , for different reasons. if you are here, enjoy it for whatever way the director presented it to us, without comparing it with K version. director seems to have his own thoughts of how the story should proceed. so judge the story only for that, not comparing it with intention of what k director presented. judge each just by their merit..

remember her dialogue "why dont you do something more meaningful with your time" ? - she said this when he came home after a football game with his friends. her complaint is he spends most of his evenings with his family (mother , brother and uncle) or football friends. she is the ambitious kinds. she tells him to work to achieve greater things like some of their friends from college...he is not that type.. his idea of "meaningful" and hers differ.. they have different value systems and priorities.. his mother warns him once when his wife gets promoted , saying he has to work hard to catch up with his ambitious wife , else he will be left behind..

i wondered how they got together at the 1st instance, GuChen says once she rejected him when he proposed to her to watch a movie with him in college, and saw it with ML. Also, it seems she liked ML more (for what ever reasons ), more than ML likes her and may have pursued him, got married. for GuChen its kind of flex now that he is stealing everything from ML

She is 20... thats the only thing in her defence.. look at 20 yearls around..most clueless , wont be able to lift half the weight she is lifting

He gave her job in the 1st place.. and she is helping him lose job, face and reasons to live as well..

Really breaking ones heart. I wonder why soceity didnt extend help to someone like FL.. is it really difficult for some voluntary support from ladies living near her house.. or anyone for that matter? Just lend a hand when you see someone lifting weight (physical, emotional , financial) beyond their ability 🤦‍♀️

Am still wondering why she refused help feom the social worker? Is it because she is worried they would investigate her background and find that she is an ex convict and that would somehow get around the place she lives and may cause more trouble??.. anyone understood why??

There was an age gap romance drama that came recently (A better life), female lead was older. I loved the series. And cheered the romance.. but there too, the guy was petite ,age gap may be around 10 to 15 years in real life.. felt a bit odd.. ..not due to age gap , but his petite frame seemed mismatched with matured aunt vibe of female lead(sun li - i adore her , though) !! 🤦‍♀️ ... i loved age gap romances where the pair seemed matched ... flight to you , all the way to sun (li landi , wang yang),find yourself, the rational life, here are few the pairs matched despite age gap..
