It is obvious Bai Lu was drained/tired during the filming of this drama.. She gave her all , but something was missing in her acting..This has to be Bai Lu worst drama ever... The fight scenes are below par and some the investigating action in just ridiculous....The scene where Xiao Huai Jin create a opening with his fingers and look through that hole to find a clue to solve the case is just ridiculous... Are you telling me that , the opening created with his fingers is as effective like a telescopic device? Even the main villain is just not that interesting or makes any sense to talk about... The drama was just atrocious, I refused to watch the last episode... What a waste of time and talents... Pathetic...

When I talk about chemistry between Leads I am talking about "Prisoner of Beauty (the romance was minimal but you can feel the love and affection between the leads) Moonlight Mystic (What can I say; can you compare Li Qin acting and Bailu?) What do people enjoy in this drama... I am not saying it is a horrible drama, but it is clearly overated... The only interesting fight scene is the opening scene where the FL was fighting those assassins( the last fight is horrible)... The romance between the lead is forced (prisoner of beauty, Moonlight Mystic e.t.c are better) . The story has many loopholes ie How can the Prince of Zhennan be the leader of the death camp when he is the same age like the Main leads in the story(I am suppose believe he started controling it when he was 10 years old?).. I can mention many flaws in the story,but it will be too long, so I will stop with the things I have mentioned..
I watched this drama because of comment from this page and in all honestly I am disappointed... This is one the worst Liu Shishi drama... The way and manner in which she plan her plot and the executive is just ludicrous... Take The Legend of Zang hai as a comparison, all the revenge planning is realistic, his ability to think fast to escape danger is breathtaking, but in this drama all her actions is just a joke... The flaws are just so annoying, that I can bring myself to narrate it... If you have free watch this drama,but if your time is valuable, please skip...🗑️👎
