Today I was finally able to watch the final episodes of Mountains and I'm looking forward to a second season. The narrative lost some momentum after Ma Tiang Hong joined the group and the ending seemed rushed to me. However, there are some very good aspects to this story and I would love to see a fully fleshed out drama of it. If you can overlook some flaws and enjoy watching mysterious short dramas to discover unique images and ideas, give it a try. If you like a well-rounded drama, you may be disappointed. A sequel was hinted at in the last episode.

Now, after I watched the following episodes and watched episode 21 again, I can understand better that they are leaving this guy behind and don't think twice about it. He himself did some very shady and even bad things, held informations back and wasn't trustworthy at all.
