There was no brain matter coming out but the camera angle was set up so you could see the stick hitting her head several times.

Yes and somehow the violence as it is shown here struck to deep. I would expect this in some kind of Hollywood movies but was surprised to find it in a c-drama. Especially with the fairy tale vibes in contrast I was very shocked...

Hello camper roommates, I just found a good fan fiction and posted it in the novel thread.

I also hope the script gets better. I enjoy the drama but feel the characters are to flat. The relationship development between Kang Ning and Cai An isn't well written. He is inconsistent for me. And the script misses something thrilling and interesting yet.
