WHAT THE HELL?!!!?
I enjoyed the first few episodes, interesting comedy but it seemed to just work.Wasn't sure about Nam soon but in the beginning I didn't mind her, I disliked her by the end though.
The three strong women had little to be desired to be honest, whether by poor writing and characterisation or just simply not being my cup of tea, I do not regret saying I didn't like any of them.
So much power basically wasted with bad writing and characters.
Hypocrisy everywhere and i swear some points i couldn't understand what the writer was on.
Didn't ship the mains at all, didn't feel any chemistry and just in general I found the male lead boring.
The story was so disappointing and cliche and underwhelming, i watched it all but i feel cheated. I feel unsatisfied in every way.
Only reason i stuck it out and finished it was Ryu Shi Oh. The most compelling character in the whole show.
I couldn't believe how they let him end.
This poor abandoned child made into a monster just wanted one person to stay by him, yet even the woman he fell for abandoned him and lied to him.
Yes he killed people, he's a flawed character that was put through hell. No excuses but the way this all played out was awful writing in my opinion.
I'm so upset l can't say anymore.
Anyway get Shi Oh's actor a main part in something mafia or anti hero because he was the best thing in this. Raised rating slightly from 2.5 to 3.5 for him and some scenes in the beginning.

Slow start then too much, yet not enough
Somehow finished it, though i turned the speed up i admit. It almost felt like the story didn't kick in at all, then i was waiting for the chemistry i kept hearing about. Also that stuff at the end came out of nowhere and just seemed to disrupt things.
Like it took long enough for them to get together properly then you do that? Instead of showing them together?
I felt no connection, i tried and they tried but it missed it's mark in my opinion.
At least it wasn't set in a school but still the story and writing to me was bland or over the top.
Not too long but i still kinda wish i hadn't bothered.

Could've been so good
While not perfect I'd been watching on the edge of my seat since i started out of curiosity. The start got me hooked and the feel flowed for me, they'd tease something had happened then go back and I'd be interested to see the how.
As it went on some things started to feel repetitive, not plots but more the characters thought patterns. I'm not saying people can't be consistent, it just needed action to mirror that or something to counteract and balance. If I'm thrown the same thing as the tension more than a few times i will start becoming desensitized.
The end definitely disappointed me. Could've been so good and satisfying but it was not.
To summarise i don't regret watching it, i was definitely entertained. It's another of those where the idea had something but somewhere in execution it's not quite right.

Disappointing...
Started and held out for the main actors but other than them it was meh.Lacklustre school setting, boring story and just generally disappointing.
I mean the debate plot was so flat and fake notmany things could've been worse.
Watched 8 episodes, about 5 normally then the rest on 2x speed, got halfway through ep 9 and realised i genuinely didn't care what happened so dropped it.
It was cute and while bad bearable at the beginning it didn't offer alot to warrant sticking around for 12 eps.
Hope the actors can star in something better.
Don't recommend, not even if you like the actors.

Good thoughtful slightly political bl
Start was a bit average, went in not sure I'd like it.Seen so many school related bls so I want any I watch to be good or I'll drop them.
Casting was great and the chemistry was amazing, main couple started a bit cliche but they get so good together I smile watching them.
Story had it's moments I thought could've been done better or I disagreed with but the overall message was one I found interesting and empathised with.
To sum up this show, it definitely gets better as it goes and never really fails, if you like the message and charecters I think you'll enjoy it.
Pacing was ok too, just the right length for this story, not much drag or filler.
Taking into account the bl scene this is one of the good ones and definitely an ok school themed drama.

Soo good but that ending...
I got sucked up right into this. I couldn't put it down.I wasn't sure I'd like Hua Qian at the beginning, but Zhou Ye's acting was great and i really believed she was her character. She was clever but not in an overpowered way and very funny and cute. Definitely a big part of why i enjoyed the drama was her.
As for the male leads, I'm not sure i hardcore shipped her with anyone. Was not a fan of Zhong Yelan, was glad she didn't end up stuck with him.
Zhong Xiwu was interesting to watch, i think i have a thing for watching a man pine after one woman. I did swoon at him a few times but he was also an asshole at others. As far as a male lead goes he wasn't the worst. Wish we could've gotten more romantic interactions with the main two, a kiss would've been lovely but even just more connection would've been enough.
I didn't dislike Hua Rongzhou but i didn't ship him as much as i thought i might. It was sweet how he just wanted to protect her but it felt like a good friendship on her side at least.
Now i was ready to rate this even higher then a 8.5 but the last episode threw me right off.
I mean WTF???!!!
If they wanted to to do this dream twist i wish they'd done it a bit earlier, it felt so jarring and shit to realise basically all of what happened didn't happen.
If they'd revealed it with maybe two or three episodes to spare we could've gotten more of a resolution. They played it off as a forgiveness and second chance lesson but we don't actually get much of the reality.
The romance too, we could've gotten more of a satisfying ending, especially since the end means near all of their interactions were in a dream and not real.
It just felt like a real let down. After a great drama it ends like that? "It was all a dream" wow
Really mixed up about this now but i still enjoyed the most of it.
Just wish they'd given more time in reality if they were going to basically invalidate the majority of the drama.

The potential was huge
I started watching whilst it was ongoing like on ep 4 and loved it.It started with a fresh feel, cinematography on point and it was very cute.
Yes it had tropes but a lot felt new or not explored in kbl before, more open awareness of attraction and the scent thing. I'd of loved if there was more exploration of that, i mean their jobs involved scents it was perfect.
Chemistry was on fire, i couldn't get enough.
The idol backstory/sideplot was interesting, I'd of even liked seeing more so it weighed more.
To be honest several things i thought could've been better or explored more would warrant a longer series, there felt like very little time to take in what there was already.
Three guys were implied to like the main but i wasn't sure how real it was or if it was just to take up time and give tension.
In the end it felt kinda rushed, i wanted people to find out they were together but no. Side couple didn't become a couple either.
I was left feeling like the quality or maybe the right word is potential i was feeling at the beginning phased out into the usual kbl. Bit disappointing storywise.
Not as ground-breaking as i wanted but still better then some of the past kbl mini dramas.
Still loved the main couple, just wanted more.

How disappointing
Wow this was a disappointment.Out of place music that made me want to turn the sound off.
The fact that we didn't get a proper interaction between the main ship for 5 eps and even then it was meh.
The story as it is and the execution is really lacklustre, I really didn't care about any of the characters and the vibes were flat.
Why is the dog cafe empty of dogs? Where are all the dogs?
The whole translation earpod thing is so lazy and how tf does it work????
I really can't watch any more, I like mew and this korean actor seemed good but the writing and what the story is is not it.

What a loop of meh
This concept was so intriguing at the beginning, it's a bit nuts how little I started to care about anyone until I had a break and eventually just decided to drop.Awful characters, repetitive betrayals and arguments.
I think another thing that put me off was the sudden physical relationship, it just didn't hit. Especially after he'd switched bodies, slowburn would of hit so much more.
Instead the kissing scenes started feeling routine, like oh here another ep another kiss or bed scene, but like I didn't find it hot at all, just meh.
I love Ming's actor, loved him in lovely writer, he was the main reason along with a bit or curiosity why I watched as much as I did.
But wow I just don't care anymore.
For me it wasn't a good drama, I felt like they missed opportunity's to do interesting things with the plot, what they did was repetitive, the opening song was dreadful, the love and relationship is toxic.
I'm no stranger to toxic, if it's compelling and interesting I'll try but this just played out bad.

Should've been shorter and sweeter
I have nothing against the actors, I've completed and loved them in their own dramas.Zhou Ye in Word of honor and Scent of time, Tan Jianci in Under The Skin and Lost you forever 1.
Zhou Ye's character in this, Gu Sheng, is a composor who covers and arranges classic Chinese style music, she also sings and does podcast type shows.
The main ship first meet when Gu Sheng is in her chatroom and Tan Jianci's character, Mo Qing Cheng suddenly comes in and his voice tells her a recipe.
They both have online secret identities they use to voice and sing stuff, so there's alot of secrecy and it's basically a cheesy secret identity trope.
I enjoyed it at first, it was light, quite low/nonexistent bad drama, plus they were sweet together.
One of the main things I started to dislike about this drama was I feel it could've been much shorter. With how the story was feeling to me they could've had less faff and forgettable scenes and gotten the important story done in less then half of the 33 episodes this drama has.
The length and what the drama actually has going doesn't draw me in enough to commit to watching it all in it's entirety.
Another thing was Mo Qing Cheng was such a busy character, it felt almost unrealistic how much he was managing to do. His almost constant smiling and just in general people pleasing vibe made him feel almost flat. Compared to Tan Jianci's others roles this was my least favourite.
By the time I'd finished episode 13 I was starting to lose interest, the relationship had gone into secret meetings and almost kissing but being interrupted, a trope I didn't think I hated but in this it all feels so plain and so slow yet not slowburn.
In conclusion this isn't the worst drama ever but in my opinion it's a bit of a nothing drama. Could also be called too much of not alot or enough.
Was funny and sweet for abit but I don't want to watch all 33 episodes of it being this flat.

Didn't hold my attention or give joy
I'm a fan of all three main actors so started this drama out of curiosity to see how it was.First thing I disliked was the voice they dubbed Dilraba with, also the over the top flirting or at least how it was portrayed. It would've been nice to have a bit more suspense with the mains meeting again too.
The logic of some of the stunts took me right out of it, as did the flat vibe i got.
I like Liu yuning and after seeing the vibe of the two male leads i got second lead syndrome. Not to say i don't like Gong jun but his charecter didn't feel unique or anything.
Even with Anle flirting and constantly going on about wanting to marry Han ye i didn't find myself shipping them at all.
I don't feel like I'm enjoying it so I'm calling it a day.
I can't say for sure that it's an awful drama, could be it's just not for me.

Could've been done better
I'm always happy to see more thriller or different genre bl so when i heard of this i knew I'd try it.Started it then about 5 minutes again felt like i needed to stop, didn't try again for a few days.
Very overly dramatic and not often in a good way.
As for the main couple it felt like decent chemistry (though alot of staring and flirting when someone's niece has died) until like halfway through and i just started feeling dissatisfied.
The repetitive will he won't he betray him and sell off the recording annoyed me too.
It was interesting having a dark lawyer charecter but they didn't really do the idea justice.
The secondary couple had potential, the bodyguard was obviously smitten but it seemed to just suddenly happen though with no weight to it, no connection. Similar can be said about the main couple becoming a thing, it was almost like the tension they tried to build up just fell pretty much flat.
Overall i was entertained for about 4 or 5 episodes then i just got more and more disappointed.
Not really attached to any charecters here and i don't see myself rewatching this.
