How the fuck is this so good? I fully expected this to be a comfort school BL but I didn’t expect it to make me cry or have this much of an emotional impact. Even the second couple had me screaming into my pillow during the finale. This series proves that even when there’s absolutely nothing groundbreaking about a BL and there’s tropes galore, it can still be thoughtfully written, brilliantly directed, and expertly acted when the talent is chosen effectively. I’m looking at you Make It Right 2026 and Unlucky Bae
This would be a solid 7.5/10 comfort BL if it weren't for AunStamp. Some of the WORST nc scenes I've ever seen. Zero chemistry. They are trying to force us to feel something for them but it just isn't working. I wish they would consider not shoehorning in second couples because that's considered the standard. I have loved Aun in his support roles but this series is really souring my opinion of him, and don't even get me started on Stamp. Neither of these two should be paired or in such prominent roles with this much screen time. Horrible.
The rest? It's solid, comfy material! I love simple BL's like this that don't demand a lot of my attention, and I think Tham and Mac are doing a decent job. Mac is a veteran already and I can see his positive impact on Tham, even as the episodes have worn on. Just...get those other two off my screen! :(
I was afraid of this. I respect Boss's decision not to direct. He is truly an artist and probably doesn't wanna risk repeating himself, but damn I already miss him. I like it enough to continue but this whole future thing seems a little wack. I must have missed something along the way because I was not aware it was like this. I thought there were two new Gelboys joining the four.
I have really enjoyed the nonsensical nature of this series. It isn't claiming or trying to be anything other than a vehicle for Tutor and Yim to flirt with each other. I would watch just to marvel at Yim with a nose ring.
how is the rating so high? I feel like by all metrics this is not a quality show. I'm gonsta watch the whole thing…
I am with you. I don’t understand the love for this ship or their shows tbh. This one is really bad, and I had high hopes because the pilot was amazing! Oat is the only one who can remotely act, but like you said I’m sure it’s not all their fault. My main gripe is the constant explaining about the omegaverse. It should be implied that people going into it know what it is. The show assumes we’re all dumb and it’s annoying. I didn’t care for Desire, but damn it was done very well in terms of the omegaverse just being a thing unto itself.
Only Japan would come up with something so absurd lol. “I’m not gay, but I want nothing more than to achieve internal orgasm. A dildo? Not good enough! IT MUST BE A MAN.” hahaha
Wow. I’m thoroughly surprised to see this under 8/10, even if it’s by 0.1 points. The acting is top notch, without need of much or any dialogue at all to convey feelings, whether ice cold or steaming hot. The story idea is unique, and undercurrent of dread is so effectively conveyed without force. I am spellbound.
TI think there are too many BL series. Its hard to catch up. I don't have much time so i watch BL series only…
For real. I’m part of a BL Discord and post daily lineups, so I see everything going in and out and right now I can honestly say I’ve never seen so many ongoing BL’s at the same time, with this large of a percentage of them being GOOD. China needs to let off the gas a bit to let us process some of this stuff, because it’s making the other countries get into gear too. So it’s just more and more and the future promises even MORE
Maybe something is wrong with me, but these 7/10 cringe BL’s are sometimes the most comforting. They never demand much from me and are always so campy I can’t help but laugh. Dome gives me Poppy vibes but honestly he’s way cuter. If nothing else I’ll watch for him.
wtf is wrong with people? 8.1?? It was like 8.3 or higher just the other day. This is a 9/10 series so far, and I feel like it’s an objective fact lol. So unbelievably good and different.
How the fuck does TeeTee just keep getting hotter? I thought I might be over him but this certifies I am not and probably never will be!! I am in such painful queer longing 😩
Yes!! ITSAY/IPYTM are forever my number one but TTH today destroyed me like no BL has in a long time. Duang With…
That’s how I felt about the trailer and first episode. I enjoyed it but things seemed too bright, there were a few tropes etc but ep 2 and 3 shed all doubt I had that it would deliver on its promise. I wasn’t saying it’s perfect (ITSAY is though), but in the grand scheme of GMMTV’s output (especially the past few years), and BL in general, TTH is definitely queer art, to me anyway.
Episode 3:Wow.I haven't cried like this over a BL in a long time, and almost never over a Thai BL, since ITSAY/IPYTM.Near…
Yes!! ITSAY/IPYTM are forever my number one but TTH today destroyed me like no BL has in a long time. Duang With You affected me wholeheartedly and is sealed as one of the best of all time, but TTH is just different. I dunno that I can call it a BL. It’s like ITSAY…in a league of its own. It’s queer art.
