A lot of the Chinese actors in their twenties are really thin, and especially the actresses....

It's currently rated 9.3 on Viki , which is a paid subscription so the haters (fans of the other two actresses currently/just finished airing) aren't affecting the rating....

It's 9.4 on Viki ( subscription needed) right now....unfortunately here on MDL the haters (fans of the other two actresses currently having dramas airing) have free access and are putting one star to drag the rating down....

One sided....

They are unlikely to have even watched the drama.....but their idols have dramas also airing at the same time and there is apparently a big fan war between these groups...very silly behaviour...

You can request a drama to be added to Netflix....go to your search engine and type in "Request to Add a Drama to Netflix" (it will go to your Netflix Help Centre) and it will take you to a page where a drop box will appear and you can type in Smile Code...the more people that request the more chance of it being picked up by them....

Her type of clothes are pretty standard for a lot of Chinese girls who are on the more conservative side, which is still very common in China....

Smile Code achieved a 21,000 heat index, or popularity points, on Tencent as of 12th November, which means it is very popular, so you are in the minority of thinking it is not very good....but everyone has different tastes....

It's the fans of the other actresses who have dramas airing at the moment who are deliberately rating it one star to get the ratings down...just shows what kind of people they attract....

Randy Che, the director, has done an amazing job at bringing out Shen Yue's best....

They are obviously ZL and EY fans....

He's emotionless because he has alexithymia due to PTSD...that is the whole point of the story....her positivity and happy personality helps heal him

I think the fact that Wang Yuwen and Zhang Xin Cheng have known each other since they were kids (their mothers are good friends in real life) played a part in their friendship dynamic and ease on screen.....this was a great matchup....

It was all his father's fault that caused her to leave him....he knew nothing about what went on....he really loved her and wanted to be with her.....if she had only told him the truth at the time about what was happening he would have supported her, but she just left him, without any explanation....

There is a difference between being a professional in acting, and crossing boundaries unnecessarily.....some of these actors use acting as an excuse to cross the line....only naive people will believe there are no physical reactions in these over the top intimate scenes.....
