“Bromance” is a term coined by fans of American TV shows and movies and has nothing to do with homophobia. Chinese BL fans adopted the term for censored C-dramas because of the Chinese government’s censorship.

In Korea, unlike Hollywood or Europe, it feels like there's kind of a divide between actors who are willing to take on gay roles usually lesser-known actorsand the bigger, more established stars who tend to avoid them. Just look at the actor from Love in the Big City. He basically disappeared after that.

The trailers totally fooled me about what this BL was gonna be. I thought it’d be something silly, like a light, feel-good afternoon thing about cats, and then boom they hit us with a full-on drama in the first episode.

Only if he’s improved in fan service, because when it comes to acting, he’s still just as bad as ever.

Most of them don't act at all, but Dunk is one of the worst. He's done about five series and his acting hasn't improved at all. As you said yourself, he's lucky to have those fanatical BL fans from gmmtv who don't care about acting.
