This was not a bad drama. It kept making me want to rewatch Yawara. This spent a lot more time focusing on the human drama then I would have liked, and a lot less on the sport. It started with some passion but fencing quickly felt like an artifact. I wonder if there is any good sports drama coming from someone who likes a lot of sports anime. I feel like the medium doesn't suit it as well, but I would love to be proved wrong.
