Is he a nice guy though? I’m not really seeing nice-guy behavior.
No, he didn't, you made that up. He only asked her to marry him after the accident when they told him the plan. Maybe focus on the story, not just the romcom scenes.

The ML risked his own life while saving hers, but the 2ML mysteriously bailed after promising to look after her…
Watch the scene again, you dumbass. He was left behind because her car was much faster and the accidents happened before her car stopped. I really hate ignorant fools who want to argue, but they can only see kissing scenes and pretty faces.

Grand Prince is willing to marry a commoner despite being royalty, something the PM never dared to consider all…
Another ridiculous argument.

It doesn't matter if she would have a chance or not, because at the end of the day, your prince was the one who was in love, not Huiju and she only wants him for his title. That's the only fact here.

PM didn't dare to ask for her hand? He literally did that. Also, when did ML ask for her hand? Huiju was the one who did all that.

The PM is not part of the same mindset; there was no scene that would indicate that. You just made that up in your delulu fangirl mind.

The funny thing is, Huiju called the Prince a coward not him. 😂 Both guys are literally the same. Neither of…
I already answered to the same nonsense.

Just because ML thinks like that doesn't mean it's true. That's just his delulu ass talking after the kiss. The fact is, he wouldn't have a chance if he were not a prince.

Yeah, he saved them, but in real life, all 3 would've died because that's not how physics works.

Also, if ML is so protective, how the hell did they poison Huiju? Open your eyes.

When did he stop her? He only said, "Don't marry him." That's all. He never forced her to do anything.

If I were her friend, I would do the same because no sane person would let a woman marry a prince because this isn't a Disney fairy tale. They wanted to kill her twice already. So, even if he's in love and jealous, he's not wrong at all.

Also, she might be smart, but she's also ignorant, because a real smart person wouldn't get married after almost getting killed not once but twice. She's obsessed with his status.

He can't be straightforward with her? Yeah you're right, but we can say the same about the Disney prince too. He's literally using the situation to his advantage because he loves her too. If Huiju doesn't make a move, he won't have a chance. He only confessed his feelings after the kiss.

If there's no comparison between them, why did Huiju herself call the prince a coward? She literally proved all of you wrong.

Nuff said.

He was literally the first one who wanted to save them but yeah let's give credit for ML only because he saved them like in a Disney comedy show. In real life all 3 would've been dead. What a hero.

If you want to blame someone, you should blame Huiju btw, because she should've said no to the King.

Yes, both of them are the same. You just don't want to see it because one of them is the ML.

What a nice guy, he wants to marry a peasant who's 10 times richer than the entire royal family, which is basically just a tourist attraction without any real power.

There are 100s of Kdrama characters who are in love with their best friends for many years and never made a move, and none of you called them villains or coward etc.

The PM was literally there and wanted to save Huiju as well, or did you miss that part because FL's face is too pretty? 😂 The whole scene was hot garbage btw. In real life they would all died even before she hit his car.

I could name a lot of times when the PM guy helped Huiju too. You just want to ignore it because I'm sure you're just another BWS fangirl with a burner account.

Yes, they are the same and neither of them would have a chance if ML is not a prince.

PM is a smart person, so he could not be that dumb not to realise that for Huiju, he means no more than a senior,…
Yeah, because when you're in love you can think properly, right?

Some of you're coming with the weirdest arguments. 😂

I don't ship anyone, btw; if I would, that would be Huiju and her secretary Do. They're the one and only reason I watch this drama.

The only thing I care about is the story. Nothing else. I don't give a damn about visuals or kissing scenes or whatever other people love.

Isn't it funny people call PM "villain" or a bad guy, but they didn't say a single bad word about a shit mother who killed her husband, the father of her son, who's also the king?

This proves my point about how shallow some Kdrama fans are. They care about the romance drama more than the actual story.

I don't fail in anything. What I said is a fact. Many Kdrama fans are hypocrites. I've seen many of them going crazy about SMLs with much worse characteristics. Shipping nice FLs with toxic red flags.

Just as ian said if huiju only wanted status why she didn't marry sml, because he also have that.
Yeah, and that argument was stupid as hell. Huiju didn't want to marry him because she loves him. The only reason she wants to get married is because ML can't lose his status. That's all. Meanwhile, the PM guy will lose his status after 5 or 10 years at max.

Are you blinded by the typical Kdrama fairy tale and can't see the obvious?

Just when I thought no one would possibly get second male lead syndrome for this kind of character… here we…
I don't have any syndromes; I'm not a teen girl. If anything, I have IU syndrome, I'm rooting for her to leave both alone and find a better guy or no one. 😂

I just don't hate the guy like so many girls in the comment section just because they can't handle a little competition for their pretty boy.

Leaving aside other criticisms, the male lead gets more leeway because he is a prospective husband and the female…
My point has nothing to do with who loves whom, btw. I don't care about that at all.

This wouldn't be the 100th time when 2 best friends fall in love after 50 years, waiting for a miracle or a fantasy character to spell everything out for them.😂

Both guys are cowards; that's why Huiju herself called ML a coward.

You're not wrong about the last part, but you just described 99% of Kdrama romcoms. But people are only irritated by this stupid trope when it comes to secondary leads.

That's your argument? ML finally confessed his feelings after like a DECADE or more? 1 day before the marriage? Come on now.

He never made a single move when they were in school. What are you talking about? Nobody cares about his royal status, the royal family is nothing more than just a tourist attraction. They don't have real power anymore. They're basically like Kpop Idols. 🤣

Stop making excuses for him just because he's the ML. Who cares about his trauma? Not important. If his royal status and trauma were so important, why did he agree to the marriage? You're contradicting your own argument.

Huiju didn't want to marry SML because the guy can't be a PM for the rest of his life. At best, he can be a PM for 10 years.

They're not in love; it's a freakin' contractual marriage for status. So you can throw out your 1st point already.

2. No he's not. He's acting like a real friend would do, but you guys are only mad because you LOVE the pretty ML, but if the SML were a woman or just a guy who didn't confess his feelings, you'd agree with him because they already tried to kill her twice.

He might have a selfish reason to stop the marriage, but he's not wrong about what he says.

He asked her to marry, that's a confession. You don't have to say it out loud, "I love you" to make it obvious, she's not a Kdrama fan who can't understand anything without spelling out everything multiple times. The way she looked at him was an obvious sign she knows what he's talking about, but you ignored it or just didn't pay attention.

He considers her beneath him, and he might be an undercover elitist? Based on what? He literally helped her so many times. Just because he didn't make a move? I could name 1000 Kdrama MLs who are literally the same as SML and you all love them till death.

I hate fakes : he's been pretending he was a friend for years. And now that he's seeing her slip away from him,…
The prince didn't act like they were friends because they weren't friends at all, and the PM guy is literally her one and only friend.

You watched more than 380 dramas and you still are surprised Kdrama characters don't make a move? Especially if they're in love with their friends? This is such a hypocritical way of thinking because 99% of you are championing ML and FLs in other Kdramas with the same boring trope.

You don't know why he didn't make a move, don't try to make your guessing game a reality. The PM wasn't a PM in their school days, and Huiju is not a peasant; she's literally the richest woman in Korea. So, what backlash are you talking about? If she can marry a Prince without any serious backlash, she can marry a bang-average PM too. He's not God, just a politician who's gonna be an average guy after 5 years. 😂

I get that's annoying to you all, but why isn't the same trope not annoying in other dramas? Because it usually happens with MLs or FLs.

He literally asked her to marry him. If that's not a confession, nothing is.

"the prince won't lose his crown, but the Prime minister would most likely not get that same pass if he married down. That's also reading the room"

That's not what Huiju said, btw. She said the prince won't lose his status, but SML will because he can't be a PM till he dies. His status can only last for 5 years or 10 at best.

That's not overstepping because she wasn't about to get married because she's in love. It would be different if she loves ML, but she doesn't love him. She only starts to have feelings for him now.

I don't think you understand why he said "don't fall in love", because he knows if she falls in love, she's going to be hurt, literally. Like, is he wrong? She almost died twice now. So, let's be blatantly honest. If he's not in love, none of you would say a bad word about him doing these things.

The problem with you all is that you think their engagement is real love.

Really, that's your argument? Then, why is he marrying her now?

The PM didn't gaslight her either, he only said she shouldn't marry the ML and he's 100% right. They wanted to kill her twice now.

It's hypocritical to say ML is a perfect guy who wants to protect FL but when SML does the same, he's toxic and irritating.

Let's just say how it is, okay? Kdrama fans give free passes to MLs because they're MLs. Unless SML is much better looking. 😂

As for Huiju's blind date, the prince was jealous as hell. Not sure what you're talking about. He's always jealous.

Both of them had, and neither of them did anything. If Huiju doesn't ask ML to marry her, he wouldn't do anything. So, what's your point?

Why are you all acting like ML was fighting for her tooth and nail?

Right, 'cause asking her to marry him is not a confession, right? Are you serious?

Not sure why people think he's gonna turn evil just because he's jealous. The ML is also jealous the same way, but no one says he's gonna turn evil because he's the ML and everyone knows he's the winner. But technically he kept that letter, and that's not a nice guy move, btw.

If any other character would have that, people would say "That's evil".

You know, after reading some comments from the typical hypocritical Kdrama fans, I want to see Huiju end up with the Prime Minister guy. 🤣

Isn't it funny when the SML is hot but a red flag, but they support him because the ML is not that hot and too nice? But this time the ML is a typical pretty boy who has all the crazy fangirls since Lovely Runner, so SML should die because he loves FL as well.

The double standard is lvl 9000 with some fans.

Here I'm gonna spell it out for you because some of you can't focus on the story, you're too focused on his pretty face.

Both guys are the same, and Huiju is just as bad as them. Why?

Both guys have loved her since school days but didn't make a move. Both guys helped her out in high school all the time.

Neither would have a chance if ML were not a prince. That's the one and only reason Huiju was interested in him. She wanted his status. Sure, she's starting to fall in love because in Kdrama, if a guy looks good and says nice words, not to mention kisses you, a girl will fall in love.

She also knows the PM loves her but still calls him oppa and acts like nothing happened.

Both guys are jealous as hell and acting like stupid kids sometimes. But only ML gets the free pass because he's the ML.

You want characters to act like they would in real life, and when they do, you complain. You only like typical Disney prince type of guys because you can't or don't want to see the darkness behind the shiny mask.

You can dislike any character, but don't act like you dislike them because they do bad things. He's not a villain, just a typical jealous man who wasn't even rejected by the FL properly.

Another romcom, another reason for Kdrama fans to be hypocrites.
