Immediately thought of this while watching the other. Girl falls for guy who was part of band who broke up.

I felt these were similar because they both were super sugary romances with a school theme. I felt the vibe was similar. Others may disagree but I felt so. Plot wise was different but I think they were on the same romantic level.

Without spoiling both movies, the ending is super similar in both movies. Both end well..................ALSO both girls hold a similar secret. Recommend both

This movie has the exact same lead actress with the same age gap theme. The endings are kind of similar but close range love ends much nicely.
