Night has Come is about a innocent kids game that turns deadly and where a bunch of kids have to survive and figure out the mystery behind the game. If Wishes Could Kill is also about a highschool group trying to survive against a cursed phone app.

Both series have the characters get transported into a game of survival and both stories explore the themes of survival, deception, betrayal, and psychological warfare, as the characters face various challenges and dangers in the games.

Both go to rather excruciating extents in ‘executing’ participants for a ‘game’. Though epic concepts it’s guilty to find that we find these kind of violent gore kdramas as attractive.

- FL grows up in a privileged background, ML grows up without his parents.
- FL's mom knows ML as a child before FL even meets ML.
- FL's mom does not like the ML for a mistake that the ML made as a child.

Both dramas are about young couples ( The MLs are a bit older than the FLs)
They are cute, fluffy, full of sweet scenes.
The stories are a bit different but both are feel-good dramas with so many romantic scenes.

I loved shine on me because it gave me the same vibe of amidst a snowstorm. They both have men that yearn and are green flags.

Both shows are set in HK, and both deal with underground illegal activities. The push-pull and vibes are very similar, and I'd recommend Ash to anyone who loved Sammy's Children's Day.

Based on the same book YJCA is a vertical drama version of Shadow Love. Kinda what Yield to You is to Prisoner of Beauty.

The stories that each drama is based on are from the same author. Similar level of depth, but LBFAD has a more complex main villain.

"Love between Fairy and Devil" together with "Alchemy of Souls" are the best dramas of the season, they are not exactly the same, they both have great OSTs, but they also share the theme of an impossible love story set in a magical world.
