I am kinda conflicted about the breakups. I am thinking that communicating things would have been better in both cases even if a breakup would have been needed. Though I do believe that Yumi kinda did try to communicate with both not that thoroughly but still. Yumi cannot know what both are thinking or feeling at the end.

The first episode was promising but it failed miserably... like almost every drama from the Hong Sisters unfortunately. They have good ideas but lack the direction and perseverance.

he even took measures... that is already mental cheating tbh. When he is fearing that he will act upon it, it means it is already over. And with Woong, he never really communicated bit that is the core of a relationship, the bare minimum if you want so Yumi couldn't have changed him.

yes now that you say it, rhey ml leads in hotel de luna were bland and I couldn't really understand their motivations. AKO was the real problem in my opinion. The female lead got weaker and weaker with every episode and that was so annoying to me personally.

100% agree! You said everything I was feeling but couldn't put a finger on. Really good review! The only interesting character for me was master Lee but all the female characters had soo much potential. The Hong sisters always butcher down their female characters somehow... that is pretty devastating.

the first half was really good but it got boring after that. I guess too many episodes do not make a good drama after all. + I couldn't feel the chemistry between the characters nor were they interesting enough for me. You could also say that most dramas from the Hong Sisters bore me ;) This was promising at first though

It was not a new concept despite the protagonist being autistic. I cannot even remember listening to the OSTs. The characters were kinda boring, this is just my opinion though after watching more than 100 dramas. I do believe that other dramas would have needed a second season more though, like Signal, Moon Lovers etc.

Really hate the fact that this drama wanted it look like love can heal everything... let's be real it doesn't.

They were horrible at communicating... like both of them but they were also not compatible when it came to showing love. I think both did it in a different way too. Different love languages and that makes a relationship harder.

The female lead in this was immature but not annoying to me and the male lead was kinda toxic. Other than that I really do think that the kdrama producers are not putting much thought into female leads and that is sad to me. Even the most unique female leads turn out the same... whiny and sad.

I like Bo Hyun but same... I imagined someone with a baby face to play Seo Ha

I am just watching for Ren at this point. The other characters are just soo boring and the story is giving me nothing tbh.

It's a trashy show but gets you hooked like always. I didn't like that the leads together were not mature enough for the relationship though.
