Don't tell me that the alive burying scene is going to be a consequence of the princess's actions....shes definitely gonna give her husband some sort of leverage....sigh.
While watching Xiyang scold her brother, I just want to give her a slap at the back of the head to wake her up.Yixiao!…
Honestly, Yixiao's reaction makes sense. She lost her memories and all that she remembers and is told is that they 3 were her closest people. She still probably has attachments towards this unanswered sentiment. At the end of the episode she ignored Ning and had this dedicated look while bow in hand. Shes probably trying to absorb the information first knowing all she had before was a brutal lie.
If she had just turned against them from start, that wouldve been superficial.
Okay. Younger sister managed to completely make me hate her. ML is already letting her marry...yet her whining never ends. Why would she want to go to a foreign country where the emperor considers her so called future husband a threat? It wont be peaceful for her naive self, especially since he isnt reciprocating her feelings. She should be grateful to ML, yet is adding to his problems.
The fml seems to regain her confidence and fighting element, I hope all these unfortunate events make her numb to her past comrades and she and ML can become a stronger duo.
2. reasonable hope its just what kind of character development under the circumstances. can only assume it will…
The way she is so clueless being in the royal family, accepting the empress as a mother, keeping a spy as a maid and then choosing to marry her brothers greatest enemy knowing that she herself has had a more pampered childhood with the emperor showing affection compared to her brother, whatever the circumstance, she needs the beating. But then again, characters like her end up blaming victims such as the FL.
1) I feel like the emperor is playing a long game, letting things play out. The way he shows no outward affection for ML yet is trynna forge him into a very strong person. If he blindly trusted the empress, he wouldve formed a path for second prince.
2) I hope the sister gets married and gets a reality check and hopefully a character development.
Binged it and I was amazed by the different emotions it pit we through. It was bittersweet wrapped in so much suffering, struggle and misery. Yet it was overturned with such sweetness and showed their will to be happy. The sacrifices were heartwrenching but Im so glad the past was accounted for. I havent watched something so intense in a long time. ZYR got an even more intense project after Reborn, truly choosing deeper scripts.
We all want more of them together in the modern world, but it may have been difficult for screenwriters to add…
I also got the feeling from their interaction that they both had memories. And I pondered over the fact that we knew Tingyan was from modern world but how would Sima Jiao be able to have such a position in a modern company. Him missing his flight led me to think of it as returning of memories from past lives. Especially since Tingyan seemed to have a minor concussion so she wasnt even in a coma, it was as if hitting her head reminded her. I only wished that they talked or something at the end, even if it didnt refer to past timelines against the censorship.
Watched 2 episodes so far, the emotions are everything. Fan of ZYR and recently came to like WYL, but now I appreciate her acting to a whole new level. This girl is going places.
Like literally there's shadow love and moonlit reunion going on but I cant not watch this 😭😭
Im giving moonlit reunion a break after ep 5 as there isnt too much going on atm. For shadow love, it looks promising and complex so i wanna let it marinate. Since i didnt wait for more eps of this and now I am suffering.
Just finished it. It was amazing but last few episodes were rushed...and Chu Zhaos unnecessary intervention took alot of our moments. Hate him for that. I wouldve preferred if the last few episodes were about the war and showed both the leads action moments together rather than annoying Chu Zhao. But sigh~ atleast the plot was better than most. Gotta give credit for that.

I bet an event or two will do the trick....
