I initially gave it a 7 but upgraded it to an 8.
I loved how she reversed the roles and the fact that their bickering remained after dating. It was a slow burn overall since eventhough he liked her early on, he tried to get over that fact till he realized he had fallen in to deep and she kept questioning her feelings towards him. Id say that after that drag, we deserved a bit more of their dating era but it is what it is. Overall, a good frenemies to lovers.

Yea he isnt, but shes the landlady, not a maid. He knows how to get her to work, playing pitiful or offering a little money....Can we just agree hes being overboard?
My point is she legit said im tired i dont wanna do all these chores and he made a fake story about his family...doing that to anyone is not alright.

Its not about the money. Its the dynamic, he enjoys watching her work and most of the times hes chilling in his room. Im not saying there wont be any character development later on but the fact hes easily overworking her with just a few yuan and also "gaslighting" her when she said "no". He might make up to it later but as of now its toxic.

The ml pisses me off sm. He likes the fl so he tends to make her miserable? Making her pay for groceries, make food for him and wash all the dishes? Then makes her clean his room aswell and do his laundry...? Even when shes a working woman who let him stay here??
And when shes dizzy and says shes tired he gaslights her.....Id rather she ends up independent and single than a ml like that. Hes a manchild...even if hes a rich heir who doesnt know domestic chores, why make it hard on her and not learn?

The plot was lost, if this was gonna happen they shouldnt have killed off so many peopel. Ye Xian made sense since he was alr sick and he wanted to achieve something but the rest dont.

Yea but the ending is abrupt, everything is so sudden so the "happily ever after" isnt shown but rather shows all hurdles removed suddenly.
