BL is not rocket science. So many people like to nit pick! AI on the intro, who cares? So what? Story was short fast had interesting dynamics in other words entertaining. Not everything has to be perfect to enjoy. Not everything has to be social science or historically accurate. If you didn’t like it, that’s fine I hated PitBabe so I get it. lol

You guys know why The Untamed is my favorite BL? There are no kisses, barely any hug, most of all no NC... but…
I don't disagree but I don’t want to see a lot of 50 plus episodes for a proper flesh out story, that is a lot of time to invest and if isn’t at untamed level, I would be arghhhh. Every once in awhile I can take it but for a short BL like this one even if not realistic I enjoyed it a lot! It is about entertainment. Nothing wrong with short fast done if it’s a good story and delivered well. Untamed was great but this little story was a hit with me! Kudos all around!

I will also not watch this without Boom, Boom has incredible acting chops ! Not sure what happened, but as usual Thailand companies hire awful high sponsored actors that can’t act, sorry Toey, you are ok but there are too many Thai actors that are not good but have these huge fan bases! In the meantime good actors like Boom get sidelined, except for Khemjira I have not watched a Thai BL since top form!

Manga junta is portrayed in public as an angelic persona, innocent but as far as takato is concerned, junta is a horny possessive devil angel. He is “angelic” except when it comes to protecting or caring for takato…somewhat similar In top form, when Jin is affected by akin strongly, his wings come out protective mode or “intense feelings” mode. Very cute!

how similar is this series to the manga ?
Somewhat close but Jin is more green flag in top form compared to junta red flag in manga. They changed the medical drama in manga to a police drama in top form. They modernize in general cause the manga is pretty dated and of course changed some Japanese vs Thai culture. Personally I really like the live action compared to the manga. I love that they kept the angel wings on Jin popping up but that confused some non manga folks that didn’t understand the context.

Boom is more experienced in acting than Smart, so I thought he was slightly better but I liked them both and that is my opinion. As far as the drama actors act and are not responsible for storylines or direction. But both were improved from the manga, unless you like red flags which I don’t mind at times.
