OKAY @Deni We are soul sistahs now LOL.YESSSSSS YESSSS YESSSS YESSSSYou SAW IT too .. your description had me…
omg thank you for the kind words! i m so glad someone saw it too! Finished this cdrama a while ago and still can t wrap my mind around how beautiful and incomparable it is. I keep trying to get some of my friends to watch it too, like they really don't know what they re missing on.
how would I ever get over this amazing drama??? 😭😭 I loved it so much!! does anyone have any recommendations…
These are some of my absolute favorites, and I hope I haven't missed any! For modern dramas, I highly recommend: Hidden Love, When I Fly Towards You, Our Secret, Forever Love (has a similar ML to the one in L&P), Amidst a Snowstorm of Love (this one's new but very popular and the ML is similar to the one in L&P) If you're into xianxias (costume dramas with fantasy elements like immortality), you might love: Love Between Fairy and Devil (my personal top pick from this category), Back from the Brink, Love You Seven Times, The Last Immortal, The Princess and the Werewolf For historical dramas (set in older times but with realistic storylines, sans immortality), consider: Romance of Tiger and Rose, The Story of Kunning Palace All of these dramas guarantee happy endings. You can also take a peek at my profile list; I only indulge in uplifting (but some are very angsty with a happy ending though) dramas and I'm quite selective, so you might find some hidden gems there too!
Just finished watching this and it was so beautiful I bawled uncontrollably. This proved to me to never underestimate a drama, as it's currently my most favorite of all (and I usually prefer xianxias). 'Lighter & Princess' isn't just some ordinary cdrama you binge and forget. It's like a whole experience. The story itself is soo beautiful, way deeper than a typical romance fluff (and it's got a fair amount of angst). It tackles real stuff, like chasing your dreams, a revenge theme, the power of friendship and love, and the rollercoaster of first love, acceptance and sacrifice for love all with characters you can actually relate to. But what really sets it apart is the raw emotion. These characters don't hold back, they laugh, they cry, they get frustrated, and it all feels so real. It's like watching your own friends navigate life's ups and downs. And the chemistry between the leads? It's like watching a real life documentary not a drama. They sizzle on screen, from their playful bickering to the deeper understanding they build over time. The ML's gaze when he's watching FL is so expressive, such a higlight. And their nonverbal communication, the evolution, development of their story both as individuals and as a couple. There's just something special about this drama, something that stays with you long after the credits roll. Trust me, it's worth the watch.
if this is your first fantasy kdrama, then it's gonna be your favorite until you watch Goblin. So I would recommend watching the best one first. Because this one is a copy of every other Goblin style kdrama lol
