Yeah, I watched Blossom too xD, and I have to agree with you. It was really enjoyable and had its moments, but it doesn’t quite compare to SOKP for me either. Funny enough, I kept putting it off for so long, and now I feel like I missed out earlier 😅

I’ve actually seen it this one before, and funnily enough, while watching SOKP, it gave me strong nostalgia vibes for The Double! Thank you for the recommendation 😊
Xie Wei has completely spoiled me for all other male leads. Now I understand why this drama is so highly recommended, it's absolutely incredible. It's one of those shows that will leave me stuck in its world for a long time.
Does anyone have recommendations for C-dramas with male leads similar to Xie Wei?
I actually cried so much at the end and not because it was sad, but because i didn t expect it to be this happy and emotional and so beautiful. It moved me to tears lol. And that post credits bonus scene was sooooo cute. 😭❤️
One word: HEARTWARMING. I usually stick to romance dramas, but this one was something else. It hit all the feels and was just plain beautiful. The family in it is probably the best I've seen in any C-drama, hands down the best family drama I've watched.
i don't know why i can't start to watch it, both main actors are my faves but i feel it isn't much interesting...…
I also felt the same way at first, but with no doubt it s one of the best. Even if it bores you at first, keep watching, you'll definitely not regret it.
This drama definitely deserves a 10, especially for the adorable duo fight scene in the final episode. It was epic, seriously amazing... like, wow. I’ve always wanted to see a female lead in a historical drama who could stand her ground, be strong, and fight like that. These two have one of the healthiest and most balanced relationships in all of C-dramas. They’re equals in almost everything, and watching them fight and scheme together was beyond satisfying. It was both beautiful and adorable! Absolutely loved this drama! Can someone recommend dramas with female leads who can also fight like her?
Huge shoutout to the screenwriters! Finally, a xianxia with the perfect ending, seriously. Big thanks to the creators of this incredible cdrama. It’s forever going to have a special place in my heart. From the very first episode, I was hooked—the OST was so beautifully crafted, and the visuals were stunning. The food ASMR, the rain scenes, everything was just *chef's kiss*. And then the costumes and makeup! The work they did, especially with the female lead's outfits, was just breathtaking. The entire drama felt like an art masterpiece to me. I absolutely loved it.
And wow, the actors! They were phenomenal, especially the main leads. The moment when ML died, their sorrow written on their face and heartache were so palpable, it felt real. Their performances brought so much emotion and depth, I was completely drawn in.
There were so many funny moments too, and it wasn’t overloaded with angst—just the right amount. It had a perfect balance of everything, which is exactly why it hit the sweet spot for me. The story, the fights, and THAT ending? Hands down the best happy ending I’ve ever seen in a xianxia. How am I supposed to watch another one and feel like this after this?!
im on ep 4 but im really getting bored to death, when does it get interesting? every1 keeps saying its so good…
Trust me, it gets so much better! I put it on hold for a while too, but recently decided to give it another shot (I stopped at episode 12 initially). From episode 15 onward, the entire drama had me hooked, right up to the final scene, which was absolutely beautiful. I honestly didn’t expect to love it as much as I do now. It’s definitely earned a special place in my heart. The ending alone is so unexpected (in the best possible way)
