Few of my friends said something about character set up i thought Maybe many people have thought the same way. I wanted to clarify. Might sounded not in a polite way i really wanted to highlight the character set up was great to the point we can ignore all other outdated technical flaws. Anyway if you watched any dramas like this can you suggest some.

I ignored poor editing of AI 2nd male lead, male lead jianci character set up in this drama is unique not like any of the drama i have ever seen.. Outspoken, too chill, carefree upto certain level but serious about career, as 2nd gen rich guy he spend money for things he doesn't compromise even it affect his finance badly, he had past not the guy hung on a girl he saw/saved his life when he was 4yr or 18yrs, he is more open minded boyfriend that possessive one's who pout or argue when they saw their gf close with other man, he is mature enough to let her go even consider her situation and give her money to rent place. Not cold aloof indifferent serious and 10/10 guy like we have always seen. He has flaws, he is more human like than someone came from writers delusion..
Coming to female lead her outlook to life isn't having big dreams and ambitions just to have happy family and 9 to 6 job. More importantly she cooks tasty dishes. People might find portraying woman being good at cooking is misogyny. No cooking is basic life skill for any human, making it tasty is one of the greatest pleasure to please ourself. Still she is better than a delusional perfectly fit health female lead live on instant foods and take out foods all the time. Ok many people might find her backbone less some girl popped from 1980s. I find myself in her. Not everyone want greatest achievement. Some people want simple fulfilling life. We can never bash them for that. Maybe now she learned men are not as reliable as she imagined. Her character is growing. WHATEVER YOU PEOPLE SAY ABOUT IT, IT IS WORTH GIVING A TRY. seriously guys we have watched every cringe fest all kind of characters/situations born from writers delusion. THIS IS REAL. ML & FL IS MOST REAL. Upto 4th episode it's different from every male lead i have seen. So the only regret is i started watching while the show in ongoing waiting is hard🥲

I wanted to convey that we can ignore all 2nd ml edit technical flaws, color grading, cinematography just for the fl ml character portrayal. Every drama has it's own positive and negative points. The drama pleased you aesthetically might not had realistic character or situations. This has something realistic we should not spoil it and scare people away because of same aesthetics
What the didn't got together until episode 23????!!!!!!!!! I'm in episode 9. When will these 2 stop pretending? Can't these two seriously be themselves? How long? In teenage I can understand in late 20s? She's thinking she past the teenage crush okk she is trying her best to hide he is ML of her book. I understand her, leaving her alone. What's wrong with him? Isn't he most successful lawyer? Can't he be stop pretending everything other than his true self? Even his friend Liu have more maturity. 🥺🥺🥺🥺 he can pretend all this nonsense will courting her what if he succeed, is it possible to pretend his whole life? Doesn't it exhausting? At first it was all fun, now it feels like they started dragging this.. No offense or hate i like both ML and FL, I started watching it for Miles wei and FL.. Saw her in "In blossom" Initial few episodes her acting was great in that.. Just feel that they don't act their age and have bit of disassociation between their work knowledge, experience AND their personality. Story is still bearable because of ML's friend, ML's sister and her male friend.
Can someone recommend c drama with female lead like hu xiu.. Bold, not coy, good at knowing and recognising her feelings. Emotionally mature.. PLEASE recommend me modern or costume c dramas, but female lead mustn't have some stupid misunderstanding, quick to judge, fooled, immature, throwing tantrum type..

Does a drama require coworkers to get shocked and artificially fawning over to become a good drama? The drama was the best for me, cuz never seen a female lead as proactive and doesn't hesitate to leave him when he gives mixed signals... She dares to love, support unconditionally and leave.. Of course very sweet happy ending too. I wish i find more dramas with fl like this.
It might sound weird i shipped huo ling long with shao ji zu 🤣😂😂 he isn't righteous, he wanted to possess her not true love, he never learned how to love. if he weren't son of evil prince he might be a decent human. He cried twice in this whole series, first when ling long only married him to get her family possession and ling long would never choose him. Then when SJZ think he got his father recognized him as his son. Still my ship failed no prbm🥲🤣... The actor did his job well.. Started watching for yang yang and alen fang, got new talented hot villain🙃🙃
Actually if you watched more you'll be feeling unfair.. She sacrificed everything, protecting him, world and all. All she got was perished primordial spirit across realms
MUST WATCH Many people hate qiqi, I too hated her character from the beginning to the moment she broke song cong heart. Come to think of it, she was raised by savage single mother who never said any compassionate words. Always ready to slap her face with facts without an ounce of encouragement. (Home should be a place gives you warmth and peace when you beaten by this cruel world) which she never experienced. Every character in this series atleast have one supportive parents, which she never had. Her mother planned her life in a pattern and never gave qiqi breathe. That's why she chased her moms recognition, song cong heart, try to possess huaner friendship only for herself but couldn't stand trials when her mom cut off her finance, huaner friendship or when her relationship with song cong becomes imbalanced. Only a human had happy childhood and received lot of love from parents can only able to face all this trials at the age 18,19. Others will surely mess it up. Even a child raised in happy home like me was had messy obsession and possessiveness with my childhood best friend and hurt her and myself in teenage. (POSSESSIVENESS WITH YOUR FRIENDS IN TEENAGE IS REALLY SCARY and seen many of my friends displayed this behavior in high school) Fortunately I had my family to guide me through those negative emotions and I experienced best friendship with open mind during my college days. Truth is her mother is worse than her house help aunt. She never had such support system. How did all these things shape a person character nd behaviour?! She never received love and never knew how to love from home.. That's why she was overly possessive and insecure with huan er and song cong.. That's why she chased song cong but never cherished him or herself.. She never knew such unstable personality can never have happy relationship with anyone untill she heal or overgrew. This is why i like this story very much every character has it's own charm, I can relate to most of the characters and moments in this series.. This series really made me walk through all those years, helpless moments, unfortunate accidents, pulled every heartstrings and 😍😍 every important humans in my life. This is a great show🥳 even it has Pentagon/hexagonal relationships🤣🤣

She have kissing scenes with male lead too. To be frank it is the only valid kiss scene. Kiss scene with her first boyfriend was most likely a peck And one with AI date wasn't ever a direct shot.
