I like the way we see how different the worlds of YT and QJJ are. Her world is bright and fun. She has stresses and privacy concerns but she has women close to her giving support and warmth. YT’s world is pressured and male dominated. Problems that arise at work and with people close to him are super serious - his mother and colleague’s health, his own anxiety about his career path. No wonder his normal expression is so serious! Of course when QJJ pulls him into her world he begins to thaw… by ep 10 her warmth is making him melt. I can’t wait to see how each of them changes as a result.

His range of facial expression changes noticeably as he warms to Reba's character. Much warmer an smiling by ep 10.

I’m enjoying this drama but Bai Cal’ limited emotional range is annoying. Too much whining and cringing in fear…and no character development at all. Luckily the other actors and the fight scenes are great.

Srsly? There’s no melodrama in this drama!

Am I the only person who finds Qi Xiou annoying? He blabs about Ruo Xin indiscreetly to Mr Xu and Ruo Xin’s mother in a way that is very thoughtless and immature. Not a suitable lover for a mature woman IMO.

This drama managed to incorporate so many sageuk cliches and tropes that I found myself laughing a lot. Dae Yop, for example. In the end he is a tragic character, but it's hard to take him seriously for most of the drama. And why does the first wife look like the princess? Why is the evil Yi Cheom untouchable till the very end? And Ba Woo's whiney son....thank got we saw him less in later eps. Depite the awful plot and writing the actors themselves are great, also the music and cinematography. Now I've seen all 20 eps I'm wondering if it is a satire.

This is an Ikea drama, something to have running in the background while you do other things. There’s so much ‘water’ here you could skip episodes and not miss much. The cast is strong and there’s a decent story but it would have been more engaging with better writing and 30 eps.

I don’t understand how anyone could find this drama lacking in tension, quality writing and excellent acting. I’m on ep 26 and so far it’s at least as good as, if not better than The Disguiser. I’m literally on the edge of my seat every episode!

Totally agree. Actually the writer/s reel out every cliche to keep the eps moving. Sooo disappointing. I’m only watching till the end because I’ve already invested so much time in this drama.

Is Dae Yeop mad with jealousy or just mad? He does such stupid things that could only hurt the woman he claims to love.

Totally agree, this boy’s acting is seriously limited. I’ve seen some brilliant child actors in kdramas, I don’t understand this casting choice.

So low at the beginning and draggy in the middle.I’m thinking it should have been 12 eps lol.

The first six eps are edge of your seat exciting, but the following eps are only an intensification of melodrama. The story takes an unusual position on the side of the servant class but FL is an interesting character wasted by weak writers. Too much yelling and screaming and loud, tense music. I skipped every other ep till the end and I don’t think I missed much.

This interpretation makes complete sense and redeems what seems like a rushed conclusion.

I’m at ep 5 and now I’m worrying about who’s going to die!

Beyond Evil sent me here. Yeo Jin Goo is an amazingly talented actor. Handsome too :)

The mad kind’s character would only deteriorate as his guilt for killing his younger brother continued to eat at his sanity till he was completely mad.
