I'm still hanging on because of the OST and Bamee's circle of friends (including Kiew and Frong). If I could suggest…
Which actor Gun are you referring to? There are a couple of actors with the name Gun. I was thinking that a good partner for Cooper would be Yin Anan Wong (who played Vee in Love Mechanics) or Gulf Kanawut (from Tharn Type).
Ok, now it makes sense why Bamee didn't admit he remembers Kiew. But still I wish he wasn't that mean to Kiew…
I agree...Meen is a great actor. I hope to see more of him in BL series. He did an outstanding job in On Cloud Nine. And regarding Cooper....he RULES. He is the best....and should be paired with an actor who is on par with his talent.
The only reason why many of us have hung in there with this series is because of Cooper. It's a low budget production with absolutely no chemistry...whatsoever... between the main leads Kiew (Cooper) and Bamee (Marc)...none. The pairing is not a credible one (no fault of Cooper). Let's face it....if it weren't for Cooper, many of us would have left the series long ago.
On a final note, when are they finally going to pair Cooper with a credible partner? It didn't happen in My Engineer...and it hasn't happened here.
On Ep 3 - anyone else found the laugh track / sitcom setup supremely annoying or is it just me?! Struggling to…
This series has a pretty high drop rate. If you do the math yourself by taking into account only those who are currently watching, those who've completed, and those who've dropped it (and LEAVE OUT those planning to watch it because they shouldn't be counted into a drop percentage in the first place) the drop rate is almost 12% of everyone who has seen this series. That speaks volumes.
In general, I highly recommend this series. My sole criticism is the pairing of Bai Lang's very hard edged and annoyingly vocal sister Bai Qing with Jin Xun An's former heart throb Ye Qi Ran. This pairing was nothing short of unconvincing, contrived, and disingenuous. It was a disappointing addition to the end of the final episode. It detracted from the main theme of the entire series.
I like ur thinking. But imo: That special timeline is in loop, because of a woman owner God/Destiny/Doom whoever…
YES !!!!! You are absolutely right!!!! I just looked at the end of the final episode and it clearly states "another Jae Woo" in 2007...15 years later. So...it is just as you said...an alternate multiverse with its own loop. Thank you!
It took a while for me to like the character of Frong. But the actor who played him ... "Meen" Nattakrit Hamontri...did an incredible job in the series "On Cloud Nine". If you haven't seen it yet, give it a go.
The screenwriters did an awful job at creating the character of Bamee. They made him boring, without spontaneity, lifeless, and about as animated as a store mannequin. As a main character, Bamee should have been developed further.
Unfortunately, these situations do occur, where parents meddle in the lives of their children to the point of causing disruption and heartaches. Yes...I know that we've all seen this before in BL's....and yes....I know that Cher has distanced himself one time too many from the Boss. But these types of breakups do occur...on and off again...especially when a parent perceives there to be a class distinction between their child and the boyfriend/girlfriend. The reality of this is disturbing...but it's there...it's real. So...I give this series a thumbs up.
