That’s what it said in the Hong Kong film festival, but it is yet to pass reviews so we don’t know yet. Apparently this show was filmed to have 34-38 episodes, so 39 isn’t too bad. Let’s just hope, if it is 39, then it’s for the plot to be actually better and not for fillers.

Okay thank you for the update. Someone said his mandarin pronunciation may be good for modern but not yet for costume. And I saw fans complaining to the production for not letting him dub in MR, which I also support but we can’t help. Fingers cross he will use his voice for the next one.

FI is the one I’m looking forward to the most but since it’s a crime drama involving government agencies (police and fire department) they are gonna be super quite post wrapping up filming. Modern dramas are expected to air quickly compared to costume ones. Like first frost took 7-8 months. But fire investigator had fire scenes so they might take longer for production. Also MR is expected to air in June. For FI to air before June is unlikely even though I wanna see it sooner, coz there should at least be a rumor about it by now if it is to air before June. So FI will be later than July, or maybe August- October window IN MY OPINION.

The rumors for BL drama according to her fans are earliest July . Don’t know about the accuracy but I just want Xu Kai to have a peaceful drama release. Good thing is that in a lot of the posts comparing the three, most people prefer MR coz it’s a unique genre unlike the (according to cnetz) overdone Xianxia (aka BL drama) . Also people like the colors, makeup, plot, production so it’s a good drama. I just want it to have good publicity and be a good hit without smear from others. Also does anyone know what happened with WOL and SOKP?

Rumors on weibo and xhs are for June. This was also rumored for July earlier and if so this will most likely compete with youku’s offering salted fish with Arthur Chen and Iqiyi’s Bailu, Joseph Zeng drama. So it sounds like a tight competition and I hope they won’t air at the same time or less the black marketing will be nonstop. Either it sounds like it will air right around Chinese summer vacation which is June/July - August.

I asked about this from xukai fans in xiaohongshu, and they said not to trust yuzheng coz he exaggerates stuff like this a lot. Also this is the only melon Kai has in the meantime and it’s spreading like wildfire. People on daoban says it’s 80% true, meaning more likely, but nothing is confirmed. Can’t wait until his birthday to get some news

Fire Investigator is extremely silent coz usually dramas involving government organizations tend to be like that. But it’s the one that I’m looking forward to the most coz the director is the one who did Under the Skin 1, and I loved that show. Hopefully it will come out in April-May. They finished filming in September and usually modern dramas take 7-9 months to air. But because this one has fire scenes , might take a little longer.

He’s a guy who had an online fight with another actor and ended up retiring. He’s the second ML in the legend of the female general with Zhou Ye and Cheng Lei. And recently he got drunk and caused and accident and refused to compensate and lied to the police while drunk causing a scene and then he got arrested. But according to fans, Tian Xiwei has already reshot all the scenes Li Ming de was involved in for an entire morning . Also his character is pretty small in MR so doesn’t worry.

Maybe. Because 1) Kaikai has to do dubbing for MR in February (from what I’ve heard, not entire sure if he is dubbing himself or not) 2) FI is a modern drama. Even though it was finished in September, a lot of modern dramas air within 7-8 months after filming wrap up. Like first frost, under the skin 2.But I saw a rumor on XHS that MR will be out in March. I don’t know about how accurate all these are.
