It is hard to find a cdrama that has no similar endings or similar plots thesedays. But royal betrothal has made it with a different plot and nice direction! All the characters in this drama are well portrayed and the story is written in a way that it keeps us on the hook everytime. Each episode has something to look forward to and the mystery in the story gives you goosebumps later. Anyways the story is something that you can enjoy, if you badly wanted something with a good plot.

Now for the downsides of this drama, I am not very happy with the chemistry of the two leads unlike other dramas. I would say the both leads suit their characters and played it really well. but in terms of their chemistry it needs improvement. The story itself is not much lovey dovey so maybe that's okay. The other leads had more chemistry and their acting was good too. so if you are in need of a romance cdrama, maybe this wont give you much of it, but a good plot with a story..and the fighting scenes were good too!. In terms of music, the main theme song was nice and the production was nicely done. Overall, the drama deserves praise for its originality but needs improvement in romance in my opinion. Either way it is a must watch at least for the plot!.
