So how exactly are we supposed to believe that she had no feelings for her obsessive ex?
Her previous marriage was clearly established as a forced political marriage. If the story had actually followed the FL’s supposedly cold, smart, and firm personality, she could have simply let her ex-husband die to protect her identity. That would also have benefited both ML and the her ambition by removing one competitor and one major obstacle to their ambition of ascending the throne. But instead, she kept saving and helping the man who could potentially expose everything.
So is she actually smart, or is she supposed to be some kind of super genius who somehow makes the least logical decisions possible? Or does she "have feelings" for her disgusting obsessive ex? Because if she does, then all those statements about her previous marriage being purely political and forced feel pretty meaningless. This is just one of many inconsistencies in the story.

In her past life, she was forced to marry her ex-husband. It was just a forced political marriage, so it's certain that FL wouldn't love her husband at that time. And in this drama, she is portrayed as a cold, firm, and smart person. She is even very cold to ML, after marriage she doesn't allow ML to touch her at all. But it's different when FL is faced with her ex-husband, she doesn't refuse when touched and hugged. Even at the end, she hugs and cries for her ex-husband, this is very contrary to her personality in this story, very inconsistent.
If FL wanted to be a player from the start and not be loyal to one person, you should have been consistent until the end, becoming a total bitch.
