I dont know what it is but the LGBTQ reality shows are just on a different level . I just watched Sparks Camp and I was pleasantly surprised. Different format than My Boyfriend, His Man and Boys Like Boys but what they each have in common is the reality of becoming comfortable with who they are and learning to accept and live their truth. When the issue of mental illness came up and topic of suicide was addressed it opened my eyes even more to the reality of what these beautiful souls have had to endure. I am confident that some one struggling with their sexuality may have been helped by watching this series. I applaud the production team for not exploiting or sensationalizing the participants. I look forward to watching Season 2.
I really believe Great is dead or in a coma. I saw a clip where Great and Tyme are friends who develop feelings for each other but Tyme ends up getting married and has a child who he even names after his best friend. Great has a heart condition and dies. This also reminds me of the bl Absolute Zero. Can we turn back time? This is fascinating to me because I have had two real life experiences where I dreamed something that seemed so real in one case it seemed so real I tried to alter the circumstances. Months later what I envisioned came true. The setting was exactly the same but the victim and the killer were switched. I know it sounds crazy but this is why I am loving this series. What you think is happening but is it happening to the people you think it is happening to and what is really real or just someone’s subconscious. Hang in there with me. I forsee a real roller coaster ride.
I really liked the way the breakup was handled. Sometimes a relationship just runs its course. It hurts of course but life goes on. Of course Ryan and Jane are the main course and they are too precious. Next week should be very interesting. More twists and turns. I love it!
Thoughts on ep 8: - I liked how Taichi and Kohei finally had a chance to talk things out, and I was glad that…
What is so great about this series is how deliberate it is in showing the progression in their relationship. It is so realistic . True love is not linear in most cases…there are hurdles you have to leap over or go around and even go under until you both get to that final destination. I am just holding my breathe until our two finally clear that last hurdle and are together as a couple.
Since I'm neutral about her, I find myself enjoying Taichi and Maya's bickering. They're arguing like greedy little…
Even though he has not verbally acknowledged it he has already fallen in love with Kohei. Instinctively he is always looking out for him. Contrast to Maya who became so engrossed with the other guy and their shared hobby that she didnt even notice that Tachi was alone.
Just love Taichi and Kohei together….they are just so sweet together…ep 8 was so special I had to watch it twice…seeing how Taichi looked at Maya was all I needed…he definitely has her number….and Maya needs to get a life! Kohei is sure of his feelings but it is a slower progression for Taichi which makes this all the more special. The way Kohei looks at Taichi makes my own heart flutter.
Bottomline Kohei and Taichi are the main course. Maya is just an appetizer . I generally skip the appetizer unless it is something really really special. I will probably fast forward the parts with Maya… no need to spoil my appetite. Hopefully by ep 10 she will have served her purpose and I can enjoy the last two episodes with her having been thankfully put in her place. She is deaf. So what! I am old and legally blind. That is still no justification for being rude, mean, discourteous and manipulative. As a former literature and writing instructor I fully understand the elements of plot and character development which is why I still consider this to be one of the best bl series of 2024.
I am still here for two reasons…Ryan and Jane…I love how their storyline is being developed. Off and Gun are so awesome together. Next week should be interesting.
Exactly!! I thought she noticed how busy he was and that since he was working, he changed but his love wasn't.…
To me it just shows how immature she is. In the real world she would have probably been fired by now. It really appears as if she only accepted the internship to be near Tae. This was going to end badly from the very beginning. My husband and I worked in the same school for eight years. We agreed that when we walked through those doors he did his jib and I did mine. Lol..I told him I didnt even want him on my floor and definitely not in my classroom. Even in meetings I sat with my team and vice versa.
I don't understand why people get so angry when there is cheating in the show, cheating is so common out there…
To each its own. I fast forward the parts with Bamhee. I do agree with you on one part…she is an annoying bimbo. Hopefully, Tae will end things. There are more fish in the sea. And she should just fess up and assume accountability and not make him feel like it was his fault because she wasnt getting enough attention! No one makes you cheat! You do it because that is what you want to do! Own it!
Personally I am tired of Bae and Ba-Mhee. It seems like their relationship has run its course. Ba-Mhee is just too immature and dizzy. Plus she is awfully clingy. This is just my personal opinion on the character. Maybe its just me. It is no surprise that she develops a crush on her boss but I am disappointed in the boss. It is not unusual for people who work closely together to develop crushes but to act on those feelings is where things get messy. Also I hate it when people use being drunk or unhappy as an excuse to cheat. It just doesnt work for me.
I am really liking this. As an introvert myself I can really relate to Diew. I cant wait for the two of them to finally meet. I know its going to be a bumpy ride but I am ready for it.
