This is just beyond my wildest expectations. I even enjoyed watching the extra Before segment. I am truly impressed with the entire cast. I love it when every member seems to be totally invested in their role.
I am loving this so much. It is bittersweet watching. One moment I am smiling and the next moment I am crying. I love both the young and old versions.I just imagine as my soulmate was dying he was saying take care of yourself and be happy…but how can you ever be happy again when the best part of you is gone! I downloaded the OST! This is such a beautifully sad love story!
I am loving this already but at the same time I feel as if I am going to need several boxes of tissues. I have vision problems and I have a friend who is going blind. She has already started making plans to get a seeing eye dog . It is frightening to consider life without sight . However, when I think of Helen Keller, the singers Ray Charles ,Stevie Wonder and Andrea Bocelli it makes me feel like the ending can end in a positive note. I just hope they dont give us an ending where Mok ends up in an accident and its his corneas that save Day’s eyesight.
Just a well written well directed beautiful story about two individuals who happen to be the same sex that overcome personal challenges which almost hinder their love for one another. I love that the focus was consistently on the mls with no interfering side story used to merely create drama. This will definitely go on my rewatch list.
I really am liking Tul and Boss…are they our second couple? Lol..I hope Kenji and Wal end up in a sack together and dumped in a lake! This is so much fun to watch.
A lot of viewers have given negative reviews to this series’s. For some reason I have not given up on it. I…
I agree. It is really drawing me in and I just want everything back in synch but like in real life that is not always possible. Also, the music is awesome.
I bit the bullet and decided to watch episodes 9-12. My faith has been restored. Women being assertive and the bad guys being exposed is my cup of tea. And the icing on the cake was the primary focus on Jom and Yai….the scene where they were dancing in front of their friends was breathtaking. Even the scene by the tree when Jom is fading away was perfection to me. It really reminded me of the day my soulmate passed away. 30 minutes before we were laughing and his loving last words still play over and over in my mind. And just like that he was gone….just seemed to fade away. So I wait until the day we are reunited. Having Jom return with the memory of his love made me smile. Finally, the scene where he is reunited with Yai was right on. I loved it. Some moments are meant to be savored. That’s what great fiction is all about to me . That extra bit at the end seems like a teaser for season 2. Right now I am just glad I got my happy ending. So despite the trauma of the first eight episodes this goes right up there with To Sir With Love and A Tale With A Thousand Stars for me.
I haven't started this yet, but all i see is people loving the second leads only. Is it really worth the watch?
Personally I am loving this series. Like most History series the second couple is intriguing but I am here for the main course and not just desert. I mention the History series because several key characters from various series are shown which is like a sweet walk down memory lane.
I thought I was going to be able to bingewatch ep 7-12 today but I barely made it to the end of ep 8. Forgive me bl comrades but I have not experienced this must trauma due to bl series since 180 Degrees Longitude! Right now I have the worst migraine and all I keep hearing are the words nip it in the bud! Seems like what eveyone thought was a secret is not a secret and the mess is about to hit the fan! Dont worry…I base my rating on technical aspects like writing, editing, acting and cinematography so that will not change. But watching two hot males in a bathtub is not enough for me at this point! Looks like there is not one healthy, sustainable relationship. I almost feel sorry for Robert which should make absolutely no sense until you realize that the only reason they made Yai’s sister marry Robert was to keep her from her female lover. This is like watching a Shakespearean play which is probably why reading Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet once was enough for me. Anyway I am done for now. Dont hate on me. I have enough trauma in my real life. I came to the bl genre as an escape. So right now seems like a good time to rewatch Love Is In the Air. Take care.
Interesting and intriguing. I started watching before and stopped around ep 3 and decided to wait until it was all over. I binge watched the first six chapters and despite the excellent visuals six episodes in one day was all I could take. I applaud how the time travel ploy is being used but I cannot really say I am finding this entertaining. In fact it is actual kind of sad. I guess the Christmas venue should be perceived as a gay bar. Since I am expected to buy into reincarnation I can live with that. I still feel no bl series handled reincarnation as well as Until We Meet Again but that is my own personal opinion. Physical and mental abuse, the subservient treatment of women and the overall slave mentality depicted is not my personal cup of tea. With that said I still intend on binge watching the last six episodes tomorrow. I am sure there is going to be more angst and some heart rendering scenes. Will it go on my rewatch list? Probably not. My number one bl series for 2023 still are Stay With Me and Moonlight Chicken.
