Well, from what I remember from the flashback, the brother had an accident and ended up in a coma. If the company shareholders and the media found out that he was in a coma, the wedding would have been postponed or canceled, and the company's stock would have dropped. So, to avoid that, the stepmother came up with the idea of having the ML wear a mask to hide the injuries on his face. It seems like everyone knew about the accident, but they didn't know that he was in a coma.

The only part that confused me was where exactly he was supposed to go wearing the mask with her. I'm guessing it was the engagement party, since rich families in China seem to have this thing where they have an engagement party first, then register the marriage, and finally have the actual wedding ceremony. So that's what I'm assuming happened here.

But if that's the case, I don't really understand why they had to live together. They could have just stayed in separate places until the whole thing was over.

But yeah... aside from that and a few other confusing parts of the script, I thought it was a pretty good drama! I just wish there had been a few more intimate scenes after they actually got together

I just finished watching it! For me, probably a 7–8/10. I didn’t find the misunderstandings that frustrating. Since I already knew going in that it was going to be like that, I guess I wasn’t as bothered by them!

But the script was SO confusing!

I don’t know if it was because of the subtitle translation, but... it was never really clear to me whether they actually got married or not, with him using his brother’s name... or if it was just an engagement party... or if it was simply announced in the media!!! If it was only an engagement, why did they have to live together? Wouldn’t someone eventually get suspicious if they accidentally saw her living with another man? None of that was really clear!

The kissing and intimate scenes were basically only in the first two episodes... I do like slow-burn dramas too, but having them confess their feelings only in episode 65... they could have done it by episode 55 and given us more intimate scenes between them! After they actually got together, we got ONE kiss scene and ONE intimate scene! Seriously? 😂

Throughout the drama, so many people in the comments were confused about why they were supposedly “married” but barely talked or communicated with each other... and honestly, I think that’s because the drama never made it clear what exactly their arranged relationship was supposed to be in the first place.

Another thing... after his brother wakes up, do they actually get married for real? Because a month later, when the ML finds out about his brother supposedly “cheating” on him with her, there are news reports about them getting divorced! I’m not even sure if that was because of the subtitle translation... or if they were actually just breaking off the engagement before they ever got married. It was never clear!

So for me, the script was definitely one of the problems. But overall, it was still a pretty enjoyable watch!

And... after finding out that his stepmother had been sabotaging them all along... neither of them even went to confront her and give her a piece of their mind?! C’mon!!! 😂

One last question! Since they always thought that each of them liked someone else... when they finally realize their feelings for each other, is there any line similar to: “I’ve always liked you... I spent all this time thinking you liked someone else! If I had known you liked me... none of this would have happened!”? Or something along those lines? Otherwise, I’m going to be frustrated!!!! Hahahaha

I see!! I meant separations caused by fights or misunderstandings, where they distance themselves, live apart, or don't see each other for days, months, or even years. Does this kind of separation happen during the drama, after they are married?

Damn it!!! I hate this kind of drama where the protagonists keep breaking up over and over again!

Could you give some spoilers? Do they break up, get divorced, or spend a significant amount of time apart during the drama? Or is the separation only something that happened before they get married? Do they take a long time to finally get together? Do they become a couple around the middle of the drama, or does it only happen closer to the end?

How much screen time do they spend apart? What is the structure of the story and what happens?

I just finished it. They get back together around Episodes 21–22!! Since it's such a short drama, I really didn't expect it to have that frustrating plot where they break up in the middle and take so long to get back together. That whole part was really irritating to watch! The beginning of the drama and everything after they started dating again was enjoyable, though. Even the temporary separation at the end made sense—it was justified and really needed to happen. Plus, it only lasted about a month instead of several months or even years like in most dramas! Thanks!

They break up in Episode 14. I'm halfway through Episode 19, and they're still not back together! What episode do they finally back together? The FL's stubbornness is really getting on my nerves! If they don't get back together by Episode 20, I'm going to drop it! From what I know, her ex is still going to come back and cause trouble... They don't get back together—or even come close to it—until the end, do they?
