ALL entertainment awards - from the well-known USA awards (Oscars, Tonys, Emmys, Black Entertainment, &c) through the Brits & the SKoreans - are glittering appreciation trophies based on how much MORE money the actor/actress/crew is expected to make for the industry. They are NOT artistry nor brilliant performance awards since those are “eyes of the beholder” evaluations.
The agents for the awardees are filling their pens with glitter-speckled ink because the contract for that performer is now exponentially increased. {shrug}
