I believe FL is trying to portray a complex character here, struck between love, legacy, past and career but its coming out wrong. The actress picked a very difficult role to play but lacks the range to covey the layered-grey-character.

The craziest part about whole ordeal is, he was hating her in the beginning but she gave him hope and reignited this flame of love and when it come to commitment, she walked clean out of there....like its only problem.

I have no reason or justification to talk shit but I genuinely did called her old and people misunderstand my intention and I deleted the comments to rephrase the words. They didn't respond after that but then I read this and trust me, I don't want to deal with demonic kind again.

See there is the problem, you can't make the victim out of the aggressor in the relationship. FL has every right to decide for her life and put her career above him but what's wrong with telling him that?
What's wrong with saying the bloody thing and communicating the problem, this time again she used the bias reason for break-up. I believe this drama is suffering from "Only for Love" syndrome, which also started pretty good but FL lack of communication skills ruined everything and the drama.
They are supposed to be 30+ year old mature adults here and they behave like this, ML made himself clear from the "get go" and made his intention clear and when she refuted him with bias reason....he didn't lashed out and behaved like mature person and gave her space and time.
as for targeting her at start is concerned, if somebody decided to break-up with you after years...saying you are not good enough, you will behave like ML (to some extent). I am 26 but when I meet certain "teacher pets" being a losers in life, there is a certain distain in my eyes. I may not say it but its apparent and I don't know may be its a males thing, our worth in society is measured by our achievements and money.

I am with you as far as, the whole "Break-up" saga is concerned and FL real motives for breakup were clearly mentioned. The whole story was repeated again, when FL warned their mutual friend to not tell ML the real reason behind their breakup.
Then FL rejected ML now cuz of her UN job BUTTTTTTTT,
She is a huge "WALKING and TALKING" not even red flag, freaking BATMAN BEACON. She lacks the basic "Communication skills" and I don't even know how she made it far into her career with this attitude. Let me give you Male point of view regarding ML situation,

Secondly I won't even try to understand your fav co-star stupidity cuz I like Bai Lu, Dilruba, Lusi, Zhao ye, Zhang Jing Yi, Tan Song Yun, Esther Yu Crystal liu and Elaine Zhong, and their drama's are not airing right now.

Wait according to my understanding FL told her friend very clearly, that she didn't dumped him cuz she thought less of him. The real reason behind their breakup was FL (she was planning to settle down with him) trash grandfather forcing her with to inherit his so called "Legacy" and she accepts it cuz he called her mother disappointment for choosing love over career....and still judges her father to this day, hence FL hates that guy.
The second and most important reason was ML got admission in foreign country and he was getting two minded about leaving her in china.....so she broke up with him cuz in her mind, their relationship was like a shackle holding him back from soaring high in society.
She sacrificed her love, lied to him for his own good.....that's what really happened and I think it was second episode in which, she told their mutual friend SML and forced him to promise to her......he will never tell ML the real reason for breakup.
