I donβt know if I should finish this drama so far I love it so much Iβm on 27 but I donβt know if I should…
Don't worry, it's not a bad ending at all at least for me, if it's called BE then I'll take it as Beautiful Ending π, many may hv a strong reaction at first but after they all calm down & hv time to think it through, the ending is actually befitting & it doesn't neglect how beautiful their journey and how amazing this drama is, imo the ending even making it more memorable & unforgettable, you can see how numerous ppl having a big withdrawal from this beautiful drama (me included)
that last one minute ending honestly isn't necessary and kinda ruin it for me.i accepted that they all gone, no…
It's an obvious SE to me w/ CY joining the gang after 10years as she went to the same paradise (NSS, the kid might be just a baby angel who'll lead CY to meet our gang in the paradise), I actually liked the ending coz at least they're all reunited & having HEA although it's in another world π€£ Coz idt the leads can be seen/captured happy after all the lost they've gotten through with so many deaths of their dearest friends, esp for Ning, so imo it's better this way & yup it's a 10/10 for me too π
Still at my withdrawal fase (I've even dropped all of my cw coz my mind still stucked on AJTL & nothing seem to be interesting anm) Glad I find more AJTL crumbs, Fang Yi Lun's (our Yu Shi San) interview with engsub β€οΈ
A Journey to love all the characters here indeed, the biggest ensemble of characters I loved in 1 drama, from the mains, supportings, even the supposed to be main lead opponents, probably the best character's writing I've seen ever. I've even liked the ending coz it's align well with their characters & I find it's really beautiful and very memorable.
They gave me heavy withdrawal unlike any other drama I watched this year, I still can't move on & keep rewatching scenes, bts, looking for any crumbs, updates, read other viewers feedback etc
Alen Fang successfully made into my top fav actor this year, first time discovered him on The Longest Promise & fell in love with him completely, he has become my biggest SLS with A Yuan, a mature, down to earth, caring and dependable guardian
& here, a total opposite character but just as charming, my forever cassanova boy with deep thoughts Shi San.
Hope to see more drama with him as main lead & hopefully with good scripts β€οΈ
I came to love all the actors in here too, such a discovery, I look forward to see more drama project with them β‘
so I stopped watching somewhere around episode 26 but I was wondering, did this drama end poorly? the iqiyi heat…
To me the last 12 ep is even greater with all the suspense, nailbiting, heartwrenching & tearjerker beautiful moments and I loved every single ep including the ending (I've even watched them twice). I bawled my eyes out & drowning on my own pool of tears but every single tears I dropped is totally worth it. The plot got even more complex at the end & they even settle with both Wu & An countries matters so for me they ended it well & not a single dragging/boring moments until the very last minute.
Last night ep 37 38 has been acting up on my side so I watched ep 39 40 straight from ep 35 36 & tonight I completed…
Chu Yue is lonely & dying at the end, she finally feel the warmth again as she's joining our scooby gang in the paradise. In the end, despite YSS let her go & refuse to fully embrace her due to his own concern & consideration for her sake won't let him be, her encounter & memory of him lasted forever till her very last breath.
For me it's a clear Sad Ending but HEA w/ all of them reuniting in the afterlife, they may die but all of them died as hero, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!
Last night ep 37 38 has been acting up on my side so I watched ep 39 40 straight from ep 35 36 & tonight I completed it in order from 37 38 & rewatch ep 39 40, gotta say watching it twice solidify my 10/10 rating Magnificent drama through & through
I mourned for Shi San the most coz I feel if he hv the slightest chance of survival more than their current situation, he'll embraced Chu Ye & might started a family with her. But his own conscience won't let him be knowing CY will be left alone & won't let go off him if he do that, lil' that he know she'll still do that & choose to follow him (read: them, it's how I perceived their ending). And last but not least, they can't even find his body to be buried coz it's all gone in explosion. It's so hard to watch this beautiful man with a heart of gold & full of sunshine ended up like that, but he died protecting the girl & the country he love so I guess it's all worth it? Farewell Shi San, tysm for all the joy you bring & thank you Alen Fang for bringing this character to life, I'll remember Yu Shi San for a long long time β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Woke up with puffy sore eyes & ugly look this morning from all the nonstop bawling watching the final but every single tears I dropped is totally worth it, handsdown the best drama I watched this year. So many good, fleshed out yet memorable characters & mature leads that will make you love and hold all of them dearly, it also hv a high rewatch value, a total must watch & very recommended to watch!
The ending isn't that bad for me, could be better but doesn't take away the goodness/how amazing this drama is compare to the rest I watched this year. The journey & the characters is what matters & that alone is a 10/10 worthy. I never find a drama with this biggest loveable noteworthy ensemble of characters & A++ acting from all the casts, the emotional punch & everything had me bawled nonstop.
And to me it's a clear ending & not vague like I thought they would be. A total worth to watch & I can see myself rewatching this amazing drama pretty soon β‘
Still wish they can make a spin off for Shi San & Chu Ye or maybe cast them in another drama together as main leads though π₯Ή
