I expect to like Park's more but it turns the opposite, Park's 1st ep already hv too much unnecessary scenes & draggy, ML character I find a bit bland & uncompelling either. I hope it gets better by ep 2. So Far for me My Demon has more interesting characters & leads dynamic. But it's expected when it comes to SK, Park's rating will be higher coz they have Joseon set up, we know how SK with their period dramas, it reaches wider age target too than My Demon which's mostly youngsters.
How is the drama???I am quite confused whether I should watch it or the drama Park marriage contract......
Only watch both of 1st ep, I like My Demon more than Park's, eventhough I expect I'd like Park's more. Maybe you can try it like me, wach both pilot & see which one gripping you more

It's getting tiring cause they always let her win with her tantrum everytime & him always forgiving even apologizing to her, their unbalanced power dynamics making their relationship very unhealthy for me & in real life this kind of couple shd hv been breakup by now coz they hv different mind, principal & one couldn't careless about the other pov, I can't support this kind of couple. I've been putting this on hold & binge Fall in Love (2021 cdrama) instead, that one has admirable strong FL character that I fully adore & admire who can compete with the ML without being toxic, not the kind like what we hv with Chu Lin here, I like Chu Lin at the beginning but not the way they hv made her become rn.
After watching all the episodes i kinda have to admit that the negative traits of Cui Lin is she's the type that…
This!! Thank you for pointing this out, my thoughts exactly. She's straightforward being childish & selfish the more ep in, they keep going with ML pampering her spoiled sulking side to get what she wants & with her blaming him & shows tantrum when things ain't go her way.
Her character has too much pride with less understanding to other's pov, it's unfortunate to hear she has no character development & they decide to keep this kind behaviour without addressing/ correcting her issue till the end.
It's actually the reason why I can't enjoy the drama as verywell the romance coz I can't root for the leads to be together, guess it's time for me to drop this drama then, thank you!
First ep ain't that good imo, feels draggy yet messy, they're trying too much to fit everything in but none of it I find interesting or even important, rather useless background to fillin' the time. Wasn't really vibing with their Joseon life either so hopefully their modern times will be better & more exciting than their life in Joseon
Thoughts on ep 7 & comparison scene to the webtoon
so they change Yul "fake BF" scene a lil' to a lighter one (more comedic centric than proper BF introduction they make on the webtoon) + they clear Hae Na's mother misunderstanding rightaway too, I like that
now onto Seo Won's birthday scene, super love the photobooth scene they add (very cute!) & Yul's dramatic reaction when he realized he's thirdwheeling the whole time as the other two lived in their own world, lol (the comedy here is legit gold) a nice addition that doesn't happen on the webtoon <3
The change they make from the webtoon that I dislike however, the whole scene where both Seo Won & Hae Na hesitated to convey their feelings/secret doesn't happen on the webtoon & tbh idk why they had to add that one coz it has 0 added value while taking too much screentime. On the webtoon, Hae Na's realization as to how to hv someone she hold dearly but not knowing if he'll accept her form as a whole, the feeling of loosing someone can be 'this' frightening finding, is being told as her inner dialogue than shown & I prefer that way.
Not to mention the best scene from Seo Won's birthday scene doesn't make it onscreen. On the webtoon, Bo Gyeom practically had to kidnapped Seo Won to celebrate his birthday outside& Yul and Hae Na came later joining & after they drank that night both Seo Won & Hae Na somehow alone in that back alley again. Hae Na (being wasted) mutters to drunk Seo Won why can't they kiss (in her mind she meant in her dog form but SW didn't know that, lol). At first Seo Won still able to hold himself & hv self restrain but can't hold back anm after Hae Na initiate the kiss so he pull her in closer & them making out in that alley. The disbelief face Seo Won make, with him blushing hard right there on the spot all flustered thinking how he just received the best gift on his birthday is PRECIOUS!
Though gotta say I love the scene they give as well with Seo Won softly carressing Hae Na's hair, that sweet tender moment is also precious <3
I'm stucked at ep 25 & atp I'm just hoping these two leads to break up, their relationship is just so unhealthy to me with one feels like keep manipulating the other knowing his weakness & use it against him. I hope they'll address this well in the upcoming ep otherwise a SE to me might be a more proper ending for them. It's no longer even surprising to see how she always get her way & him always giving in. They started as two interesting powerful leads character but the steam loose rather quick with imbalance power dynamics they keep giving to the lead characters.
I Need Spoiler , I Seen Some Scene She Accept 2Ml Marriage Proposal He Even Put ring on Fl. Can someone explain…
Haven't watched this one yet but if (I believe they do) they follow the original (korean series with the same title) the FL do have a fiancee & plan to get married in the other timeline (it's hard to tell without spoiling), it's a really good romance time travel drama though
Common sense, heโs a prince he canโt simply live a life he dreamed of. Think of the great grandson heโs…
Yup but then she try to manipulates him into this competition to the throne using her marriage knowing his feelings for her won't let her be, hence I hope it backfires at her & he left her there w/ those prince (but ofc he won't coz he'll always be on the loosing side everysingle time for being so soft to her & accomodates her), but she just keeps manipulating his feeling to follow her will. Here the leads hv a really imbalance power dynamics with one keep using the other, it feels too manipulative for me.
Common sense, heโs a prince he canโt simply live a life he dreamed of. Think of the great grandson heโs…
It's his own life, he can choose what he wants to do with his life, it's not hers to talk. He can support this great grandson until his coming of age. Even if it's for the greater good, it's his rights to choose, never hers to begin with. She manipulate his feeling to follow her will & it's wrong in so many way regardless her purpose maybe for the greater good. Let the man choose his own, realize that he can no longer run from his fate, in persuasive way etc than spoonfed him & forced thing on his throat, he's a man of his own not some kind of her puppet.
