If so, I watch them raw so I don't get what they're talking about as well..
But Qi Yan marries Yan Zhi (Yu Er seem to give her the blessing too), idk what happen, morelikely political since QLZ has just been back from his training & rules again.

After their marriage Qi Yan told Yan Zhi how he know YZ is Ruo Qing (RQ had some allergics/ trauma to furr so YZ can't deny her real identity any longer).
Qi Yan shows YZ his tender/ caring side since I think he felt responsible for all that happened to her because of him.. Yu Er then came & misunderstood YZ's involvement on Cheng Xi's death & slit YZ's neck, then we see QY visit YZ on her chamber to check her condition, apologize to her & YZ ask QY to promise her about something which the latter then agrees (I think it's about Yu Er, as Yu Er has always been their top priority). Later, they work together/ discuss things with Yan Ding for their plan to bring down QLZ.

So I think with their marriage, YZ saw QY from a closer distance, giving her the chance to see the real QY, so their relationship taking a new light, but tbh I don't think it was meant to be romantic, it's just Cheng Yi & Lulu Xuan's acting are just too good and expressive with their eyes that am squealing over their overflowing chemistry 😂.

But in terms of relationship in the drama, I don't think we need to be worry since our OTP seems to understand eachother

Even till this day Yan Zhi still want Qi Yan to be dead. While I understand her hatred, but to hear it from her own how she wants him dead dead is really heartbreaking/ hurting me to hear.
Aside of Yu Er, Qi Yan really has no one who understood him.
Guess that's why what happen on ep 43-44 is needed for Yan Zhi to know & understand Qi Yan better & I'm all for it tho it might be heartbreaking for the OTP.

May I know why do you think she will die? She does in the novel but the novel have a total different set up, so idt she'll die in the drama.
So far 44 ep in, she's doing fine 🙃

Nothing can top the original for me, but if they really want to do the remake, I think Bo Gum will suit LZW role, he has the built & vibes for the character as very well micro expression's acting.
Sin Hye Sun will be good for the FL.
Go Kyung Pyo will be good for MJJ role (tho ik he may not doing SML role anymore), but well just a thought, or maybe Jung Gun Joo.

I believe Bo gum & Hye Sun can pull off those emotional acting required for this drama & convey the beautifulness with bittersweet vibes which running throughout the series.

I can already tell that this drama will be SPICY, Song Yoon Ah & Jeon So Min 🔥🔥

My prediction of their ending

Yan Zhi finds out at ep 34, but until ep 44 Yu Er still has no clue about them being sisters.

Yes, idk if Cheng Yi ever played a good, mature loving husband roles living his married life (LAR excluded), but I'd really love to see that, seems like a promising roles that will suit Cheng Yi best, even better if they can have him paired with Lulu Xuan 😁

As much as I wanted Qi Yan to survive till the end & live a happy life, looking at his current condition (he keeps coughing blood), I don't think his body will be able to make it.

So my prediction, after they defeat QLZ, Qi Yan will stay together with Yu Er in his remaining time then he'll pass the throne to Qi Chen, reamend the sister's bonding & leave Yu Er to Yan Zhi's care before he passed away.

Qi Yan fulfill both, his task & the promise he made to his brother & teacher, to defeat QLZ & keep the two sisters alive, tho it may cost him his life. Just like what he said himself in front of Qi Ang's memorial tablet, "I may not able to take care of myself, I may not able to take care of my siblings either, but I will win".

It'll be heartbreaking indeed but I'll still feel content as long as they show Qi Yan having enough time to actually be happy & at peace before his departing.
He left his legacy to Qi Chen & both sisters, to live in a better Xing 😢
