As much as I wanted Qi Yan to survive till the end & live a happy life, looking at his current condition (he keeps coughing blood), I don't think his body will be able to make it.

So my prediction, after they defeat QLZ, Qi Yan will stay together with Yu Er in his remaining time then he'll pass the throne to Qi Chen, reamend the sister's bonding & leave Yu Er to Yan Zhi's care before he passed away.

Qi Yan fulfill both, his task & the promise he made to his brother & teacher, to defeat QLZ & keep the two sisters alive, tho it may cost him his life. Just like what he said himself in front of Qi Ang's memorial tablet, "I may not able to take care of myself, I may not able to take care of my siblings either, but I will win".

It'll be heartbreaking indeed but I'll still feel content as long as they show Qi Yan having enough time to actually be happy & at peace before his departing.
He left his legacy to Qi Chen & both sisters, to live in a better Xing 😢

Damn, I love the otp, but ngl, Qi Yan & Yan Zhi's moment on ep 43-44 makes my heart flutters/ squeal 😂👉👈
They give a different vibes, like ex-lovers/mature couple who finally came into mutual understanding while Qi Yan gives a responsible hubby vibes/charm ♡♡.
Since in this drama he belongs to Yu Er, so I'd love if I can see this pairing in another drama too as I can see their chemistry as well. Their eyes are just so damn expressive!

Prince Guang is really hard to read, one minute I think he's really sincere/ want to help (help Yu Er & Qi Yan to recover) but then I remember he's also the reason why Qi Yan is injured/ was stabbed, idk what to think tbh,

Among all of scenes that they had to removed due to number of ep cut off/ censorship, why they had to remove otp moments when they're already so little, first the kiss & then this, why so cruel, we want more, not less 😂

Kinda regretting my choice watching their raw ep.... I understand nothing & all I have is a very big question of WHY 😂
Just fyi, if you're expectant of many otp loving moments going forward, better keep your expectation low, guess it'd need to be put down at rest for awhile as the politics will be taking the central spot.
I miss my OTP & their affectionate moment already, can't bear to see them seperated 😢

Haven't watched the raw ep yet, but heard that even until ep 44 she hasn't know it, the sister's reunion likely will be served as the last arc 😅

Some, like his mortal enemy here, I didn't even recognized who he was until like.. hmm.. maybe their 12th ep or more 😂 since all of his moustache missing & him having a vastly different hair.

I didn't check the cast list before, so I feel like having memory quizes to guess, lol

10 LAR cast, that's like having a whole set esp since most of them seem to hold SBM key roles 🤣

There will be more & more LAR cast coming and it's delightful to see familiar face, guess we'll never move on from them, I'm still rewatching LAR occasionally too tho at the same time being obsessed with SBM as well, lol

Let's not jump the gun too soon & generalizing them (as many CY's fans coming from LAR & Bingyuan's fans too).

Don't worry, I think good words will spread from the people who really watch it & eventually the real rating/ reception of the drama will shown.
Let's hope CY will be given more good scripts & projects. I believe ppl who seen his work will give him the recognition he deserves. As for the haters, it's their lost for not acknowledging the gem they had, CY's recognition will silent these ppl's off eventually.
