I love the casts pairing with this PD, but I really hate this new "one ep a week format & multiple seasons series".
Which's one of the reason why I'm no longer watching a US series. They left us hanging every season & we'll never have our closure.
If the ratings are great there will always be another season after seasons to follow but once they flop they'll get cancelled rightaway without any decency to air their closure/final season.
Knowing that kdramas are now trying the same format like US series is so upsetting :'(

I had to disagree, SA will acted out of character if they make her do that.
The problem with this writer to me that she listened too much to the viewers that it brings inconsistencies in her own writing & become hella frustating to watch.

Jin Woo was never supposed to be the ML, TR was, even if OMS is great in playing his character, supporting character was meant to be a supporting for a reason. It was pointless to drag his story that we already know how it'd ended from seeing their main poster, the whole scene itself was purely served as fillers.

I really hate it if a writer do this to her/his main cast, so unrespectful & a sign of power abuse to the cast. Imagine if this actor signed his/her contract knowing that he/she will be the main lead but ended up only having a minimal screentime.
Also how upset & dissapointed their fans will be if he/she was their reason to watch at the first place but they're only used as a bait.

I've never seen any love triangle being dragged for this long, it's insane. Just because the actor gain his popularity more than the other (no offense to OMS, I love him), the writer took his fame & dragged his story as long as she could, ruining everything & frustated me much, like, make up your mind already writer-nim!! I'm emotionally exhausted watching this series, smh @$%%+#

You'd better be, this drama is so frustating all the way through with lately even being more ridiculous to watch, I wouldn't recommend to invest 50hr of your time for them, tbh I'd have dropped this drama from the start if I knew they'd be like this & if I haven't invested this much time for them (40++), I can't wait for this drama to end a.s.a.p.

50++ long drama wouldn't have felt long at all & probably be a greater series than those regular 16 if they handle it right though, ie. Father is strange, Empress ki

Lol lol, I feel you, there's less & lesser kdrama with fluff released nowadays, but lowering your expectation wont hurt either, at least now you know what you're jump into :)))) *jk

It's okay, this kind of role probably suit him better, I hope he can learn & improve his acting, hopefully fast :')

I'm watching this drama twice everytime, live (raw) & subbed
While watching other drama once sometimes I feel already too much & hard to complete, this one manage to make me hooked until the very last ep (14/16 ongoing).

The only airing drama that even when I watched them raw, one hour flew by as if it's nothing. I love the suspense & psychological theme in this drama, it's a melo thriller for sure, my fav that I don't see often.
I think, if you ain't nitpicking too much with their procedural flaws, you'll enjoy it like I do.

I had the same question like you do when I watch their earlier ep, but now I think I get why he's like that esp if we put ourself in DK's prespective.
DK seems to be mad at TP I think because his premonition made him suffer in misery knowing what's upcoming ahead, it drives him on the edge & made him to never live at ease, as if he always have this predetermined fate, those abuse articles from the reporter doesn't make his life easier as a kid as well.

Agree, to me he can only do either deadpan face or exaggerating everything but nothing in between. ALM was my first drama with him & he was horrible in it but strangely I see some ppl mentioned he's improving there on ALM & my thought was, how much worst he could possibly get if that horrible one was counted as improving X'D

Oh for me the writing is great, because eventhough I may disagree with ML action, I kinda understand where he's coming from. I can understand both ML perspective that's why I find it's even more tragic for them to ended up this way.

Imo it takes a good writing for viewers to be able to understand both POV. I liked that they're both written as grey and not purely black and white.

I don't find it that frustating as well also probably because I've seen way way worse frustating ML's character (sideeyeing beautiful love wonderful life, one of my cw with 100 frustating ep) X')))
However, I also get why you may have felt that way.

Eventhough it's not without its flaw, this drama is really interesting, I don't know that seeing a drama with this kind of theme (prophecy) can be as interesting as watching a time travel drama, you can't predict what the future will holds nor predict how ones will react eventhough you may have seen their future, a mistery that only God will know & how many pararel world it might create.

I also don't know who's the real villain in this drama anymore, it might be the supposed to be villain, well sure, but it might also be the protagonist as well depending on whom pov you're seeing, the lines between them were thin & I think that's what makes this drama interesting as well, plus Im Jo Hwan is so so good at this he keep stealing my heart. (Love Taec & Yeon hee too, though)

I agree, the way I see it every action Tae Pyung did just aggrevate Hyun Woo even more & feel as if they're fulfilling his prophecy.

However, though I wish he'd take things differently & approach him in a more calm manner, I get why he's being emotional & did what he did, how nervewrecking it can be knowing your dearest one will die/in danger, the clock keeps ticking but not doing anything to prevent it.

But I feel really bad for Hyun Woo. Damn Im Joo Hwan is so good at this, he keeps breaking my heart.

True, they better show it rightaway & I need them to be worth the wait, time is running out & the slow pace in the recent ep I think will messing their flow, idk why they keep dragging the filler (love triangle w/ JU) & postponed their conflicts till the last few ep, they'll rushed everything out.

Yeah I hate how they mislead viewers on whom the ML was & neglected any development for the supposed to be ML, he barely show up/ had lines, it's ridiculous & I feel like cheated for them making me invested on the characters only then abandoned him.

This love triangle just went on circles without progress it's so tiring to watch.
I once pitied JU & used to think he's funny but now he just annoys me (I'm annoyed at the writer to be exact)
