Ji Ling & Wu Yi story involve things happen in the past that viewers hasn't got to see, it has more ground in the later ep, it gets stronger from ep 7 to the latest ep 9, I personally fell head over heals over this couple (literaly obsessed with it) than Wu's but viewers can enjoy both or pick whatever they like

Ep 9 Dang so gooooooood, Lu Wu Yi ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 I'm a goner, JJY really nailed it H to T, I was literally in tears but then she cracks me up sm, it's a tears & laughter ep with a very satisfying romance progression, I'm obsessed!

The reveal was on last part of ep 7 (although it wasn't related to her, more on how his puppet thing works)

Oh I honestly like the idea & can see more chemistry between Long Shen & Wu Yi, Wu Yi just had to remind him of his past self more so that we can get our Long Shen w/ more warmth, maybe not as drastic as Ji Ling, but a mature Ji Ling 🥹

The highlight for Ji Ling & Wu Yi's pairing rightnow was supposed to be like that, their cutesy innocent part, if you caught up to ep 7 you'll see that it'll get heavier with angst (I believe I'll miss their childlike interaction) & imho by ep 7 JJY & TJR has intense chemistry (better than Wu's for me) which's align with their character (not referring to Ji Ling- iykyk)

I end up subscribing for both Youku & Netflix for them too, this drama has made me obsessed
