OMG imagine if Naksu gets her body back but Uk is confused about who he fell in love with and tells Naksu that he isn't sure if he fell in love with her or Mudeok, then a fight happens and Naksu protects Uk but is injured and as she lays dying in Uk's arms, Uk looks into her eyes and realizes that Naksu was the one he loved all along and his final words to her are "your eyes are still pretty"

Very true, it is all mere speculation at this point but its fun to come up with theories and I personally love a good reincarnation story lol, I really want to see powerful Naksu and Uk team up though, I think that duo will be so OP, Uk is becoming stronger and Naksu was extremely powerful

me too!! I love stories of past lovers being reincarnated and given another chance at being together, it just makes me feel like there is someone out there for all of us and in this life or the next, we will still be together

I think the difference though is that Naksu has zero interest in Yul, we see that it is evident in all their interactions, basically the only reason that Naksu ever seeks out Yul is so she can help Uk, for example, Naksu only told Yul that she loves him so that she could get information out of him to help Uk, when Yul pointed to his favorite snacks and the vendor asked Naksu if she wanted to buy some for him, she straight up said "no" and then proceeded to tell Yul to give the snacks she bought to Uk because Uk loves snacks, when Yul asked Naksu if she wanted him to carry her to the top of the tree, she also straight up said "no". When Uk got jealous that Naksu was training Yul, Naksu said that Uk is her only one and she won't train someone else. Basically Naksu has no interest in Yul, she is head over heels for Uk as she craves being around him, she put herself through that hard test just to be able to see him again, Uk risked being kicked out of Songrim just to see Naksu again, those two are crazy about each other.

it is possible, right now my theory is that the real Mudeok will either end up with Seo Yul or the crown prince, but I definetly do not think she will end up with Uk, Naksu and Uk have way too much between them

Yup, I think another reason why Uk is meant for Naksu and not Mudeok is because of the promise Uk made, that promise was made specifically for Naksu, the promise that he is going to find the ice stone so that she doesn't die and how he is never going to leave her side, I think that promise was made in episode 8. I also can't stop thinking about that flower in the snow, because I think the writers wouldn't include it unless it was important, like why dedicate time to showing it when we couldve just heard the poem when Uk was writing it down

true, "king" can have many meanings

The scene when the poem is revealed is foreshadowing in my opinion, I have a crazy theory of some sorts, basically Naksu and Uk are the reincarnation of Jin-Seol and the founder of Songrim (something similar of sorts happened in Hotel Del Luna which was written by the same writers of this drama), we learned that the founder of Songrim was in love with Jin-Seol and wrote that poem for her but he never was able to deliver it to Jin-Seol, it is possible that something happened that didn't let them be together. So now their souls were reborn as Naksu and Uk, the poem showed a single flower in the snow, the founder of Songrim wrote this for Jin-Seol but it can also be applied to Naksu as when we first meet Naksu she is standing alone in the snow. I know some people might say that becuase of this then that means Uk is meant to be with Mudeok since Mudeok is the lost daughter of the Jin family but I dont think that is the case and here is why. Uk isn't a descendant of the founder of Songrim either, because either 1: he is actually the king's son and therefore not a descendant of the founder of songrim or 2: he actually is Jang Kang's son who is a descendent of the founder of Cheonbugwan, we know this because the position of Gawngju is passed down by hereditary, also the founder of songrim has the surname "Seo" not "Jang" so it is impossible for Uk to be related to the founder of Songrim. I know there is that connection between Mudeok and Jin-Seol both being blind but we don't know if there was another soul inside Jin-Seol and Jin-Seol was just pretending to be blind to maintain her cover, because the reason why Jin-Seol and the founder of songrim were never able to be together was because Jin-Seol died due to the alchemy of soul thingy where you turn black and die. This is just my theory but I truly believe that Naksu and Uk are the reincarnation of Jin-Seol and the founder of songrim because of the poem. I will also add that it is interesting that Master Lee took such an interest in Uk when Master Lee was the pupil of the founder of songrim.

I also agree that Uk is the son of Jang Kang and not the son of the king tbh, idk why but I just dont think Uk is the son of the king because the king could have lied to Jang Kang, also from what everyone says about Uk's mom, she wasn't dumb, she might have been able to tell that the person inside Jang Kang body was someone else and not Jang Kang, I do think though that the current crown prince is the king that was born with the star or maybe Uk is the future king as there might be a civil war of some sorts and Uk is crowned king?

yup, there is still so much to explore, like we havnt explored Yul family yet, Uk's dad hasn't shown up yet, we have the whole Uk being the king's son storyline to explore, we have the whole Naksu storyline to explore, the Mudeok being part of the Jin family storyline to explore, there is a lot more story there, 16 episodes would not be enough imo, thank God they're doing a part two

you better buckle in, the story is just beginning, they're barely setting up the characters right now, there is a part two, 16 episodes is not enough, this is a fantasy drama that will span many many episodes so they can tell a satisfying story

Yup, fully agree, the FL is Naksu, not Mudeok, these are all Naksu's feelings and actions, Mudeok might still be in there but she isn't the one who has feelings towards Uk, my theory is that Naksu will end up with Uk and Mudeok will end up with the crown prince

I personally hate love triangles as well but somehow this drama is able to pull it off without it being stressful, also wouldnt this technically be a love quadruple? bc the crown prince is also starting to have feelings for MD. I think they also do a good job of doing the love line between MD/naksu and Seo Yul, because you can tell that Seo Yul is still in love with Naksu and he can tell that MD is Naksu but Naksu is no longer in love with him and now she loves Uk, like you can tell that to Naksu, Seo Yul is just someone from her past and she no longer carries feelings for him

Me too as well, they said in the beginning that Naksu is incredibly powerful, she was beating songrim mages left and right, so I personally cannot wait until she is back in her body and shows off her power, we only got a taste of it in the beginning, only the leader of Songrim was able to go up against her

I think through the ice stone she might find a way, we still don't know the limit of the ice stone's power, all we know is that it is an incredible source of power and energy, I very much doubt they would continue into part 2 without Naksu, we never know though

I also expect the ending to be bitter sweet, maybe the friend group ends up fighting each other and all the friends will have to choose sides, ugh I hate it because I love the friendship that is forming between the crown prince, Uk, and the rest of the mages, I just know they will end up fighting each other

Right!! If the ML was older then people wouldn't be complaining, the double standards are disgusting, why can't women be the older one in a relationship, I think alot of this stems from people looking at women as tools for giving birth and so they see an older women with a younger guy and think it is unnatural, there is nothing wrong with the women being older, also they are both grown adults, its not like he is like 18, he is literally almost 30 lol

yup, no way am I getting my hopes up again until I see an official announcement

So im seeing alot of misconceptions in the comments so lets clear them up. The girl in the mental hospital is the daughter of director of the school, she is also Yoon Se Pil's fiance, the reason he wants to destroy the big three is because they caused her to get into an accident which injured her brain and caused her to be mentally incapacitated (so stop shipping OSJ with Yoon Se Pil, he already has a fiance, he bought that house so that he could find proof that they did something to his fiance). Next, the child does not belong to OSJ, there was a scene where OSJ ordered a paternity test and it came back negative, the girl is not her daughter (I am assuming it might be GC step sister's daughter). Also for the love of God, stop comparing Vincenzo to this drama, they are entirely different dramas. Yes the drama has slowed down but that always happens in the middle of dramas, that isn't anything new, it is most likely going to speed up next week.
