Underrated Drama!! I recommend it!!

This was a good drama. Though the plot line was just cliché like many other thai lakhorns, it was really entertaining and engaging. There are various factors that I liked and did not like about this drama. But overall, it was really good and great to watch.

Story:

It is the usual revenge drama. FL uses the ML to get her revenge. But there is no rape/non-con. The ML is not a brute who forces himself on her, he is instead a sensitive and caring guy. There is only one scene where he kisses her to shut her up and she slaps him. He immediately tells sorry after that as well. I loved the non-toxic relationship between the leads. There were various elements that I loved and kept me on toes. Her battle with her own aunt and cousin to get back her parents company on one side and other side had an entirely different villain who was the ML's father who's dirty secrets FL used to blackmail the ML into marrying her.

I loved that our ML was very strong and independent and had so many people around her that she could trust. I loved that our ML did not really swoop in to save her or help her in her own battle with her aunt and cousin. The FL's fight to get back her company was her own and the ML does not even know much about it for most of the plot. She marries him to have an income from the alimony and a place to stay. She needed a steady rock to begin and he became one even though it was a marriage cuz of blackmail.

Our ML on the other hand is crushed and sad to know his father's true colors but still loves him very much. Our ML's battle is mostly with himself, about his morality and his love for his father despite everything. Sure there were scenes where he became the knight in shining armor and saved our FL from kidnapping and murder and so on. But mostly they had their own fights while still falling in love with each other through the journey.

The story was well done. The villains were good. The character Jan was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and it was at least a good reason for her extreme reactions and behavior, unlike other female villains who are simply loud and boisterous and always shouting just to be a villain. Jan's character was shown to be like that cuz of her mental illness. All the other villains were comparatively toned down. what I did not like was the too much death in the drama. Like almost all the villains die. I feel like killing off Jan's character was unnecessary.

But the slow budding love between our leads was really nice and exciting to watch. It was really good. Our ML was smitten by our FL from the beginning but sees her differently when she blackmails him into marriage and then once again proceeds to eb smitten and fall in love. Neither the ML or the FL was stupid. They were clever and dealt with their problems well. The ML was very open with his love for our FL. Sure what is a drama without a misunderstanding? There is a small misunderstanding and the doubt of infidelity to the last few episodes but that gets cleared up too.

Acting:

The chemistry was fire!!!!!! Both of them were so good with each other. They make an excellent couple. Everyone was really good at portraying their own characters, including the villains. I really liked it.

I don't really rewatch much, but I would surely comeback for the burning chemistry and sweet moments.

Overall it was a very good drama and I feel like it is really underrated. I really recommend it to everyone who likes revenge plot and secret marriages. I had first hesitated to watch it, but I am so freaking glad I did. Please do watch it!

Not a heavy story, but enjoyable!

It does not have a too heavy plot. The LGBTQ+ support is top notch and its overall a cute drama. The book from which the series was adapted is pretty shallow in itself, so I have to say that the series did quite well in adapting it. I enjoyed it. There were instances where the script was lacking and the episodes cud've been better paced, but the acting, production, and music was top notch. I wud still give the scripting a 7.5 because they tried their best to do what they cud as an adaption of the book. The theme had a much greater potential that what was shown, but they had to stick to the original novel according to the novel rights contract.
It mostly revolves around lack of communication and self love - something we experience in everyday life. There is no third party "DRAMA" drama or villain fathers. The problems between the characters are of their own making and misunderstanding. The pressure to meet expectations and how one might bend backwards to fit into it is shown very well.

Zee has done an excellent job as Lian and NuNew despite being a newbie has done very well for his first role. The chemistry is amazing and the pairing of ZeeNuNew is very compatible. I would say the acting, soundtrack, and the production was the best part of the series.
I am looking forward to another series of Zee and NuNew and I hope their next series have a more deep and well done scripting as well.
The rewatch value for me is a full because I did rewatch it and I did enjoy it just the same.

Everyone should give it a chance and decide for themselves!! Great Chemistry!

Considering it is a MAME story, there are obvious elements that many do not agree with and some parts that you may feel uncomfortable. It is honestly better than most MAME novels. Some may say its harassment and that Payu was too pushy and invading... Some may disagree saying that Rain is equally attracted to Phayu and that Phayu never crossed the line ultimately....he teased the hell out of him though. I believe it should be upto the viewer to decide and that everyone should give this series a try to decide whether they will enjoy it or not. Choosing to go by reviews won't really do justice. I also believe not watching the series will not do justice to the second main couple whose story will not begin until ep 7 or 8. Sky/Prapai story also seems so fun and enjoyable with more emotional depth than Rain/payu story which is more lighthearted and on the fun side.

But even when arguments fly one thing is for sure that the cast did a great job portraying their roles and the chemistry between the Boss and Noeul is fire!! Even if there are elements that can spark heated arguments in the first 2 episodes, ep 3 was honestly so soft and sweet.
Watching the episodes felt like time was flying by way too fast. It has got me hooked and is strangely addictive!!
