This was meant to be a romantic comedy, it wasn’t. It was more slice of life. I did enjoy it, great story plot and acting. I would have like more romance between jaewon and jinhee, they didn’t even finish the conversation when he was pushing her away, I get that it’s a what’s understood doesn’t need to be discussed type of thing but with so little romance throughout this ‘romance comedy’ it could have been included. Also the doctor and mijeong ? I’m confused do they like each other?

I think it’s the sister. They didn’t get along as kids.

I actually rewatched season 1 so I could remember all the nuisances for season 2 and you’re right! Even rewatching I didn’t get bored with season 1, but I didn’t even make it through episode 1. It’s not the same and idk why.

I’m jus here to say, give it a try. I’ve been seeing the clips online and just thought it would be overhyped but I really like it so far! Pleasantly surprised!

For new viewers, so far the show is about the FL who is the legitimate daughter of her household but her and her mother are treated unfairly by the dads favored concubine. She also intends to marry her longtime crush. Due to misunderstandings and pressure the Fl and the Ml are forced to marry. ( the ML is not her crush)

She isn’t trying to escape anything, but she does long for freedom that women in this time period are not granted
