What? I disagree. Why do you feel the need to come after ALL Kdramas on here? In actuality, Chinese dramas are a lot more similar to eachother because of their censorship and pushing anti-Christianity/religion and Communist propaganda. There are pretty good dramas from both sides though.

Maybe seeing her face in the past, or present made him start to remember more, especially things/people that involved their connection, like Hyukchan. It didn't have English subtitles but one of the clips (I saw) seemed to kind of imply that.

But after I saw this short fanvid of the last part of the 1st episode, it made me think that he only has glimpses of memories and flashbacks, of her, especially when he sees her looking at the fireworks! I don't really think so, because he looks pretty much the same in the face before and after the explosion. But I have been wondering how he doesn't have any facial burns, after what happened. He has burned skin scars on parts of his chest, shoulders and back. You would think he would have burned skin on the palm of his hand too, or ... Hmm.🤔
About his hearing loss, could it be one ear on his left or both? He probably has partial hearing loss?
Here are a few possible clues: 1) At the end of the first episode there is a flashback of him seeing her watching the fireworks and one of his ears is covered by a bandage! He reacts to the explosions and the flashback stops. 2) He didn't hear her when she called to him in the room while he was changing. 3) We hear a statistic or muffled sound of her voice (that sounds like it is coming from one of his ears) from his perspective when she talks to him.
