They deserved their own drama...a full length one - 1hr 16/14 Episodes actually. Yoo-gyeom x Sun-woo (Park Chang-hoon x Lee Sang-min) really were on another level. That's how I felt, and I still feel.
I haven't watched Thai one. I have watched only this. But yeah; I have seen some clips here and there related to Thai one. So, I don't know about Thai one that much. Still, I don't intend to watch it.
Of course, quality wise, there are so many problems in this one. I'm not comparing this with a specific drama. I'm just saying this as a whole. Actually, story is also a bit problematic. And definitely the length of the whole drama has/plays a very big role of it. It affects the story drastically.

Whatever will happen... I won't be shocked, I guess.
I mean, whatever will happen it won't make me disappointed. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to see an ending which I expected... (one among few expectations/imaginations.)
A few days back I said, "besides a few things, every other thing leads to their dating to be fake."
But NO.......... I'm taking it back... Now I think everything is leading to that... As per my thinking those everything is possible and makes sense. I'm so strongly feeling that it's fake dating between Yoo-gyeom and Do-yeon.
In Ep01 the way they announced they are dating was super weird. It seemed Yoo-gyeom did it as a favour to Do-yeon... they deliberately said it to that guy. Because 1) Do-yeon liked that guy, so she wanted to figure out how this other guy feels about her/maybe to make him jealous or maybe 2) he was trying to hit on Do-yeon and she felt uncomfortable about it.
In Ep02 In her b'day party she wasn't seemed to be upset at all about Yoo-gyeom's absence. It was like she didn't even care... But the thing is, in that party not only Yoo-gyeom, but also that guy was not present as well. Actually, I think "1") in the above para is what's happening.
And in the Epilogue of Ep02 she seemed to notice the way that Yoo-gyeom looks at Sun-woo so happily after giving him the drink... like, she was looking at Yoo-gyeom thinking like, "Ohh.. ahhhaa seems like this sunbae has something for Sun-woo...he likes him.. Ohhoo he seems to be into my friend..." 👈 This is exactly what I felt from her face expression at that moment. So, Yoo-gyeom and Do-yeon announcing that they are dating is something that happened after that scene in that epilogue.. (As I think/Actually that's the message I got when they showed that epilogue..that's what I understood)
So that means, even though Yoo-gyeom doesn't know his own feelings, Do-yeon knew about his feelings towards Sun-woo from that scene (Epilogue). And also, I guess, at that time, Sun-woo already had feelings towards Yoo-gyeom. So, she wanted to help them realise their feelings for each other and get them to be together... and to do so, she asked that (fake dating thing as it will be a help to both parties) as a favour from Yoo-gyeom. After all, Sun-woo is her dearest friend and Yoo-gyeom is a well-respected (I guess) and a good sunbae.
In Ep05 the scene which, Yoo-gyeom, Do-yeon and that guy (he is apparently the student council president) are talking about location bla school retreat bla bla things, that guy seemed pretty confused about those two. And also, when Yoo-gyeom caressed Do-yeon's hair I felt like Do-yeon was about to cackle... Anyhow, that seems so awkward and funny... It's like they are being touchy only to show the other guy. They want to make him see them being touchy.
And then somehow Do-yeon might have gone with the other guy. We don't know what happened between them. But I think the ending of the Ep05 where Do-yeon is talking with Sun-woo, it's also regarding that guy. Like, maybe she might not have asked directly from him, but she might have tried to figure out his feelings and reached to a conclusion that he doesn't like her. So that's why she says, "Am I not good enough?"👈 to Sun-woo. But maybe even though, he does not show, he also has feelings for her. Actually, we can see what Do-yeon can't see in the story/drama through the screen, right? And in the gathering party when Yoo-gyeom looking around for "SOMEONE" and when a friend teased him that guy seems a bit suspicious as well.
Of course, all of these are completely possible and make sense according to my imagination, actually it's not simply an imagination it's my thinking/view/an explanation maybe... ahh..whatever... I don't know. If I was the writer, I would have made it this way. hahaa.....LOL
But definitely in the drama, this is a 50/50 chance... they can..; either make it this way or the complete opposite way [(no. 2) in 3rd para] ... (OHH suddenly remembered and scared it might be the case for real) ... or even make it NOT FAKE at all as well. You know what I'm talking about... right? Yep, exactly the fake dating thing is what I'm talking about. Fake dating thing might not be the case. I don't want it to happen though. I don't like it.
