Agreee. Some themes weren't bad at all. Like the zodiac (?) episode where they had to hide in that massive building and figure out which animal everyone was, the activity where they were being directed to random areas and had to guess what activity they had to perform and the water dunking activity (idk if all these were the same episodes or seperate) but the later episodes I kinda found it hard to maintain attention... I deff thought I would see Bai Lu's appearance a lot more in the eps too

Trying to give this season a shot but I feel like it's really difficult to follow in the footsteps of the previous season.. 😭

I thought it was only me that felt this way about this season and so couldn't really get into it for a long of episodes, but coming to these comments I am so surprised others are in the same boat... wow

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Feels like his sense of humour is just to be rude and mean to others... which is okay if you're just joking around and you balance it out with sweet gestures but I literally only ever saw him doing the former throughout the entire season so it made me think he is actually just not a nice person and gets joy from being mean to others lol

I love this drama. Had me hooked all the way through. If anything, the pacing/editing of the 2nd half was a bit choppy and parts of the story seemed missing. Was the amount of episodes cut? Anyway, loved the series as whole and how the plot is strong enough to carry it through without romance being a main theme.

This season is so good! Quite possibly my fave season of any Chinese variety I've watched show so far. The cast have so much chemistry since a lot of them know each other from previous projects and works. I'm literally laughing out loud every episode. I love the travelling aspect and them exploring different cultures too - makes it super interesting. Lin Yi was hilarious the first few episodes when he lost his voice - too bad it seems to have healed now 😂

Which country are you in? I tried a few different countries on my VPN and it didn't work. Not sure if just a VPN issue...

What are you guys using to watch this? It's not on YouTube yet, WeTV doesn't seem to be available in my region no matter what region VPN I use and Tencent Video is all in Chinese...?

My guess (and I didn't read the book so this is just based off my impressions of how he's portrayed in the drama) is that he's just a bit emotionally immature and has bad communication as do a lot of young boys his age. He probably struggles expressing his feelings in a clear manner, although he tries and thinks he is getting his point across. Also, he probably has poor boundaries and confuses his loyalty to his childhood friend for love, because she helped his family a lot in the past when his dad passed away (what his Mum said).
