same. i think this show could benefit a lot from the 50+ episode dramas we used to have. Like I'd take more episodes of this just like how I absolutely devoured Story of Minglan despite the massive 73 episodes.

I think this drama could flesh out its plot more. I also really loved Ci Sha and Ren Min's chemistry.

the leadup to the kisses are the best. i see the chemistry there! it's the pay-off, the kisses that could be better. the director could have given them better pointers.

im so confused by the comments! Am i the only one who enjoyed the wedding scene? I thought it was fire considering we barely get this kind of spice from cdramas. The director could give them better pointers, but for what it's worth, it was good! I totally felt the chemistry through the actors.

Episode 33 was a surprisingly really good episode after all the stress we've been through! It was a much needed break. Cai Han and Mu Qingyan make such a cute duo 😁 also pls pls pls MQY you cannot disappoint me now. Pls don't have a hidden agenda up your sleeve bc I'm tired of your shenanigans boy

They both needed that one year time. Cai Zhao has told him multiple times she will never give up her family and friends for him, and she stood on business. Mu Qingyan is toxic as hell but Zhou Yiran and Bao Shang En's chemistry is too good so I'll give him a pass 😂
