I watched Reborn after "Lighter and Princess" and I swear it was so hard for me to get lighter and princess off my head, after few episodes I got used to that drama and ended up loving it there was not much romance but story was pretty good and here chemistry is just so good..it kinda matches the level of Lighter and princess

People really need to stop acting as if anyone who points out a character's flaws or disagrees with certain writing choices "didn't understand the plot." Understanding a story and criticizing its execution are two completely different things. Now, coming to the drama. I understand why Miao Jing doesn't want Chen Yi to constantly put his life in danger for her, but isn't that how people in love naturally behave? When you truly love someone, protecting them becomes instinctive. I don't see how Chen Yi is wrong for wanting to keep her safe. I'm sure Miao Jing would do exactly the same if their roles were reversed. What confuses me is when Miao Jing tells him to "love yourself" and "think about your own future instead of mine." Chen Yi isn't someone who never had dreams. He spent his entire life walking on eggshells because of his abusive father. Every time he tried to change his life, something dragged him back. He couldn't take the exam, and later, when he finally wanted to leave everything behind with Miao Jing, fate got in the way again. Even taking that dangerous job was ultimately to give Miao Jing the future he believed she deserved. Miao Jing also says she doesn't want him to build his future around her, but wasn't she doing the exact same thing earlier? She was willing to sacrifice her own bright future just to stay with him and run the pool hall. So why is it suddenly wrong when Chen Yi makes sacrifices for her? She even blames him for influencing her college choice, which feels unfair considering she had already chosen him over other opportunities before. Another thing I don't understand is her decision to investigate Zhang Bin on her own. By the time she returned, Chen Yi was finally trying to rebuild his life and, most importantly, stay away from Zhang Bin. Then she walks straight into danger as if she's somehow capable of taking him down. Even Sister Wen couldn't escape Zhang Bin despite having a police officer as her husband. What makes Miao Jing think she can outsmart him? She's putting herself in an incredibly dangerous situation and then expecting Chen Yi not to protect her. If Chen Yi were the one risking his life, would Miao Jing simply stand back and let him handle it alone? I don't think so. That's exactly why I find her perspective difficult to understand. It's ironic because at the beach she literally said she wanted someone who was fierce, loyal, and willing to burn the world for her. Chen Yi is exactly that. Yet now she's upset because he keeps protecting her. I genuinely can't understand her character,she's the first female lead who drives me this crazy. At times, it feels like even she doesn't understand what she wants.

We can't say anything about what could have happened but didn't happen I mean how do you know ZB would make Chen Yi take up the job when he clearly had a strong mindset of not joining him..you have got so much faith in Zhang Bin. Chen Yi was definitely not going to take the job he refused ZB multiple times and said that he wanna do a clean and legal job but when ZB gave him photographs and said someone is keeping eye on them he knew it was Miao Jing cause he saw that umbrella at his place which MJ took when she was keeping eyes on ZB at dinner table..he made his mind to work for ZB after that day. So in your words she is helping him then I can say the same about Chen Yi he's also helping her to get away from danger then why's he wrong but she's right?

MJ revealing her ideal type and Cen ye lost his smile bro immediately realized why he is her ex now😂 Then next day when she got stucked he was calling for help meanwhile Chen Yi rushed without giving it a single thought...the difference is as clear as water still why is it so hard for him to understand something so obvious? That man has serious mental health issues

Fr I actually enjoy jealousy scenes but when it starts stretching more than few minutes I start losing my mind and ever since this bastard showed up he's literally hovering around her like a ghost all the time

Exactly I agree with your each word,and I fear Chen Yi knows that Police man's wife died because of ZB that's why he doesn't want MJ to get involved but the more he asks her to get away the more she gets inside this matter...she is really reckless,she wants him out of the darkness at the same time she is making him to go deep inside the darkness

Yeah that's possible since she was so close to Mr. Zhou's wife...and I think that's why Chen Yi is even more anxious about her safety because he saw Mr. Zhou losing his love in this dangerous game
