Don't get the hate this drama received. I managed to finish it in two days. It's a cute, fun watch, with a good main couple and second couple, who were so enjoyable to watch! I love that the final episode was just them being happy. I hate when dramas give you the happy couple for like that last 10 minutes.
Some things I wish played out, from episode 11 I was hoping they both just left and went to America, cause I did not want a redeeming storyline for the grandma. she spent 20+ years mistreating him, she should have regretted her choices alone, and in the end, have no one inherit the company.
Another is I hoped people at the company/public were aware of her being his 'first love' Maybe it would have helped ease those annoying rumours if people understood the depth of their relationship.
Anyways, I gave this a 8/10, and would recommend to friend
Ohh my Shaylaa he doesn’t deserve all the blame, he was told do do it by others!! i loved when he shut that prick up, telling him he was repulsed that he was pretending to care about FL.
Ugh that lowlife coward ex, how did he have the nerve to tell her not to ‘trust’ Baek-Ho when it’s all because of him. He was engaged after a long relationship then gave her his wedding invitation to another and ignored her when she was getting bullied at work?
Also, it makes no sense for the chairwomen to do that to FL when most people at the company knew they were in a long-term relationship? So when the ex turned up engaged to the chairwoman daughter, did no one at the company use their senses and figure ‘well thats quick, did they have an affair’
I'm mad at the writers and pacing of the show. It's moving like a 40 episode drama instead of one that only has…
I agree with you in the pacing, I think they wasted episodes on her helping free those two women imo. I wish this was 40 episodes so we could explore the ML's background, poison and more of their love story. At this point they trust eachother, and we know they already have feelings for each other so it could progress. From BTS clips, i know there is a hug scene coming
I know alot of people are mad at the lack of romance, I was too, but I like their little sincere moments, like when he protects her, they hold hands or when they look at each other and smile. (mind you i didn't like this at first,)
She's a broken character, so it will take time, and since looking at it like this, I'm happily content. it was the same in the double too, although they were nicer to each other in that
Princess Ming Yue is such an annoying character that it makes me wanna quit watching this show. Both the shows…
What else are you watching? i feel the same after episode 20, how about watching The Glory? I've been enjoying it a lot, smart FL. Les Belles is another show I just discovered on my to watch list
I just finished episode 20, and I have some questions. Firstly, it's unclear when the ML 'fell' for her in this…
Apparently the Nightinale people from Naanwu are just a group of people who make perfumes lool, i thought they were a secret army or something. And i don't understand all this saintess storyline
I just finished episode 20, and I have some questions. Firstly, it's unclear when the ML 'fell' for her in this current life, like out of now where he loves her this much. when she started as a asuspect? but even that is unclear. Also, their flashbacks together, how did they get together, and why are they seen to be in the middle of nowhere lol.
I saw a spoiler for who the nightingale people are, and tbh it made me lose my excitement cause it's so disappointing if true, but from a flashback in episode 20 it looks like it could be true. I'll say this in the comment under the spoiler.
The grand princess daughter is insufferable, but we do need great evil characters, but even her obsession with 'revenge' doesn't make sense lool. The FL apologised and kowtow to her but still, shes doing all of this just seems unrealistic.
I think there may be plot holes, thats why i'm just watching and now really understanding lol. I've seen theories or novel spoilers that seem way more interesting than what I'm watching
