So many things! Thanks! I will definitely check those!! I did watch romance of tiger and rose and you're right, I loved it 😊 . You gave me so much material to get through during my recovery, even a novel, I'm very thankful!

Oh, thanks, you're so nice 😊 . Well, I'm not sure how to define my taste, I like a great variety of things, all genres. But I guess, I like well done dramas, most of the time the dramas that I enjoy they happen to be also high rated dramas, I find that many low rated dramas (but not all) doesn't have a sound logic and that's difficult for me. So I think maybe it's easier to explain, what I don't like, for example, what I already mentioned. I don't like either excessive angst that doesn't have any point ( for example there's a very popular drama where the guy plucks her eyes out.. big trauma for me to this day 😅) and I like humor of course. I don't know how is called in English that kind of humor, but I liked joy of life whereas didn't enjoyed gardians of dafeng, I enjoyed How dare you and love game while I couldn't connect with a dream within a dream. And I'm loving too the bits of humor in this drama, of course 😊. (I'm just paying Iqiyi at this moment if that helps)
Hey! I wanted to wait until more episodes aired, but I'm sick at home and I don't know what else to watch. How was the episode today, big cliffhanger? Do you recommend me to watch something else? I did try to watch others dramas in the previous days, while waiting new releases but everything felt like not enough after watching this.
Hi! Haven't watched the new episodes yet, I'm considering maybe waiting to have more episodes aired... Without spoiler, how were the episodes today, was there a big cliffhanger? Thanks!
it's a good reason to get the normal slap in this kind of dramas and being humiliated by her so he knows his place.…
Oh, no problem I understand that when a drama feels frustrating it's normal to drop it, I've dropped a lot of dramas that weren't my cup of tea even if they are high rating ones. If watching a drama feels like a job, better to drop it. You have chosen examples of dramas that I haven't watch so I don't really know. That Dali and Prince I dropped it very early on, thinking I was going to watch in a future, but that future never came (had better things to do)... And that other one, as beautiful as you drama, is actually in my tbr but I never felt the pull to watch it.
But I do know, though, that another troupe it's the miscommunication one. Sometimes mistakes or misunderstandings occurs within reason considering the circumstances or the plot, but on occasion they are too forced for plot sake and the characters show so low emotional IQ that is frustrating. They should just explain.

Yes, ckdramas are full of cliches; the nonsensical slap, the forced kiss been romanticized... are just a few of them. Toxic behaviors for sure. Specifically the way they are portrayed so many times. I haven't watched that drama in particular but I've seen toxic behavior in others dramas. I don't think that the focus is that much on been humiliated or not but on what kind of behavior we normalize as a society. Of course we need to use critical thinking while watching, specifically knowing that younger people are watching too. So in the end, considering those things, we are going to enjoy them anyway as these are fictional dramas and we are aware how they differ from reality so many times.
Biggest mistake of ML is leaving FL and her sister unprotected, esp since she played a big role in thwarting attack…
Yes, it was very much within her character and I enjoyed her taking revenge and killing those bandits. She is also so skilled! Her father teachings are paying off.

Yes, it's not ok to slap people, although I'm fine with defending yourself after an aggression, which this was. (btw he didn't "enjoy that slap" and try to kiss her again, he just didn't accept her rejection. No means no) That crying is also consistent with a girl in love even after that happened, and she is missing his kind part, not his forced kiss. In fact the later would add to her grief. Those scenes were very well done, and the actors made a very good job portraying the emotions. The focus should be that he overstepped her boundaries not that she defended herself, let's not make bad behaviors romantic.
