The main character is excellent — Within the first 20 minutes, you already understand what kind of person he…
Agree!! And Lu Yu Xiao is fabulous in this role too: she performs so smoothly, and everything feels so natural. She’s so funny. I’m loving her in this show so much!
OK, I wasn't expecting that at the end of the episode 7... and the beginning of episode 8 it's even better: I could sense a complex relationship with his competitor and a more than a probable connection between his past trauma and that company. But they actually revealed us a lot in just a few minutes!
I just hope she had a Pre-nup, because that unscrupulous guy and his mother are going to clean them out 💸💸💸.
Yes, a pre-nup or that they have not signed the marriage contract yet. I'd like to see in a future episode the bride character doing well without that guy.
Ep 7: I'm so glad that Hu Xiu got to expose her ex-fiance and find closure while being respectful with the bride and helping her. Well done, girl! I just wish that as viewers, we get to see in any future episode the bride character actually thriving and being happy after getting rid of that cheating guy.
I thought the besties's husband was cheating. Then, his coworker was acting all flustered when he saw bestie and…
Yes, that behavior would be a big red flag in real life. A guy who hides this from you, claiming it's because 'he doesn't want to make you worry,' is either patronizing you or dismissing your right to know. If you want to run another business while keeping your main job, you would tell your life partner. But dramas tend to reframe that kind of toxic behavior as romantic: 'Oh, he does it because he loves her.' They even show her supporting him afterwards. If this were a real life situation, she might support him initially, but he would likely betray her again in the future, because that red flag is part of a pattern.
'Glory' if you haven't watched yet, the still airing one with Hou Minghao and Gulnezer. Very good drama.
Yes, when you love a show, just one episode feels not enough. I started a bit late and binge-watched the previous episodes so actually this schedule kept me from binge-watching it all 😅. Actually following the comment section of the series day by day it's fun, just like I'm doing with this one. So that's the silver lining, I'm enjoying it a lot too.

Not yet. I do have it on my list though. It says its on Netflix, but it's not in my region, or at least not yet. I'm guessing its pretty good based on the comments, right?
Oh please nooo, I don’t want this to focus so much on the business part, but it seems it’s heading there……
Exactly! I don't want it to become just like any other "boos-employee relationship" drama... it would kill the dynamic that we are seeing until now. I just hope it keeps its charm, I'm loving the show so far.
I'm feeling worse for the bride here: The groom seemed very scared when Hu Xiu and the bride met at the end of the episode so I'm guessing is not that simple as a "flash marriage"... Our FL actually dodge a bullet when this jerk dumped her...
